      What I have realized this week about the power of the liberal agenda is frightening. It is equal to cultural Marxism or Totalitarianism. I can now see how situations like what has happened in Indiana will shape businesses, communities and churches in the near future.

      Kenyon Krause gay is a feelings/attraction/lust. i dont know why ppl get offended when i say this but just think about it:
      2 men call sex, getting dookie on one anothers penis. and even if a gay couple become transgender they still cant have a period, produce breast milk, nor their OWN sperm, nor produce children.
      also, if theres nothing wrong with being gay then nor is whipping ones but with their bare hands instead of tissue. if someone says its disgusting to wipe ur butt with ur bare hands, sue them for their opposite belief.

    Businesses provide a public service. To deny that of homosexuals or any group undermines commerce and relegates those being discriminated against to second class citizen status.

    • @violetsnotviolence
      @violetsnotviolence 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lukeor Technically at this point as far as the law is concerned the only organizations that are allowed to discriminate are faith based organizations and private clubs. How that is applied depends on where you live.

    • @Lukeor

      violetsnotviolence violet, I can discriminate based on credit score, location, financial situation, asset values.... anything I believe that makes me feel I don't want to do business with you. If I own a convenience store and you come in with no shirt on, I can kick you out. That is discriminating. If I own a restaurant and you're dirty and stinking up the place I can kick you out.

      @randomtinypotatocried 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      *blink* So are you saying it's fine if a business doesn't serve black people or the disabled? If not, why is it any different with lgbt people?

    • @voteZDLR
      @voteZDLR 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Kaelyn McIvor I tend to agree, actually. I think it's criminal in and of itself that we have the Government literally telling private business owners that they have to serve anybody for any reason. If I don't want to have to serve somebody, even if it's because they're black, then I don't think I should have to. The thing is, nobody is ever going to actually adopt a policy like that, because who in their right mind turns down money? But if I own a bakery and don't want to make a cake for a gay couple, or for a straight couple even, or whatever, it is NOT the Government's place to tell me I am breaking the law for that. Again, nobody would ever wanna be the business that just turns gay people away, or black people, etc, so it won't ever happen, but if someone owns a business it should be their right to turn away business or patrons if they don't want them there.

    • @d8d810

    I am proud to say that the Tennessee State Senate just passed one of several ANTI-Discrimination laws. Soon local governments (cities) cannot deny and discriminate against a handgun permit holder from carrying in their parks and recreation areas, they have to comply with the state code allowing law abiding citizens to carry their handgun in parks. Handgun carry in state parks passed years ago but there was an opt-out provision for bigoted liberal city leaders to ban carry in their city parks. Soon liberal city governments wont be able to discrimnate against law abiding citizens of the state and infringe upon their Constitutional rights.

    • @Lukeor
      @Lukeor 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Xavier Rolando Discrimination is a right. If a dude walks into my store dressed up like a Nazi telling me I have to serve him, I want to discriminate. If someone comes in being loud, annoying and obnoxious, I want to kick them out. If a christian doesn't want to serve me because i'm gay, good. I don't want to patronize him.

    • @XBR99
      @XBR99 9 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Lukeor actually discrimination isnt a right. To compare discrimination against homosexuals or Christians to nazism, is quite far. Although i can still see your point. But essentially then it should be the same that we should be able to discriminate against blacks, muslims, asians, hell even whites. I dont see how it affects your religion that you sell someone a cheeseburger, or any other simple services, as you profit from it.

    • @Lukeor
      @Lukeor 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xavier Rolando Yes it is, it's called the freedom of association. It doesn't disappear when you enter into business. So you're saying Nazis don't get a pass for what reason? They are bad and gays are good? Christians did a lot more damage throughout history than Nazis ever have, you don't think they should be discriminated against?

    • @XBR99
      @XBR99 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lukeor freedom of association is the right to join or leave groups of a person's own choosing, and for the group to take collective action to pursue the interests of members.

    A private business should have the right to discriminate against anyone they want. Why the fuck should someone EVER be forced to serve someone they don't want to? It's technically a bad business/economic decision to limit your customers, but again why should you? It's practically slavery. If I owned a business I should be able to sell my products to whoever I want to. If I only sold it to one group of people I clearly would have diminished my own sales, which would naturally encourage me to be more open.
    But forcing a business is just ridiculous. Stupid even.
    Japan for example, the Country *7* *Years* ahead of the world, also has discrimination laws. Businesses can reject you based on race, sex, religion, ethnic or national origin. And they're doing fine.
    Ironic that the Country that was once an Imperial nation now has more Freedom than the Untied States in those regards.

    It's still a shitty business strategy to deny service to gays and a smart businessman won't give a shit who his customers are as long as they pay, all they'll see is green. Businesses have every right to deny service to paying customers but to do it is counter-intuitive as the sole purpose of doing business is to make money, so in the end the ones which provide service to all will outcompete the ones that discriminate.

    Businesses should decide who they sell to. If the market approves, the business will thrive. If not, then goodbye business. It's really that simple.

    Discrimination? Which way? A closely held business can refuse ‘service’ based upon that ‘service’ violating their beliefs… IF there is freedom of religion in America, then those who own a business have the ‘right’ to refuse service to anyone who violates their beliefs. Taking this to another level, I bet you will not find pork in any Jewish or Muslim restaurant. In effect, that is discrimination against any customer who requests Pork.

    they can keep the religious rights bill so long as they put up signs outside the shop saying "straights only", or "christians only" or "whites only". This way I know not to enter there and experience shame and embarrassment.
