In our first instalment we tell the rise of Edmonton native Tion Wayne. From his early influences growing up, to his teenage street notoriety in the 9, known then as ‘Rebel’. This is where Tion had to make a stark choice between the streets and a life in music.
This episode leaves us with Tion Wayne’s ambitions becoming a reality in the music scene.

I would say Africa is the trenches England is easy you get free housing free education free healthcare and you can get good clothes from primark. you don't have to do road you can do up a 9 to 5 job .
@@dominicclarke3206 Easy to say, not as easy to do when you're from certain areas. For example, housing isn't free, it'll be discounted but there's minimal availability and you don't get a say in where you live.
If you grow up in a poor area where there's minimal jobs (lots of places), you might get started in crime very young. Or if you grow up in a single parent household on a low income. Or any other number of situations where there's a struggle just to feed the household. Once you've started, it's not as easy as just stopping, especially if you've become involved with gangs. Suddenly, you're watching your back every time you step outside. Hard to go to a regular 9-5 (if they even exist in your area) if you've got a criminal record and there's people willing to kill you.
It's a bit easier in somewhere like London, where you can travel around the whole city for pretty cheap, but what about people who live outside London?
Yes, obviously Africa is worse and England is better than many countries. But that doesn't mean everyone has it as easy as you're pretending.

I'd say rappers that grew up from back then are the only real talented artists. They set an example for the newer rappers, nowadays its so easy to get a flow and spit bars because there's 1000 different rappers. Some with the same flows and copied bars.

What an earth are you on about? Man said free housing? Free housing where? 😂 also, “trapping” ain’t dead. It’s not for everyone, only very few people can trap and get out successfully with a clean run. When you’re trapping you’re supposed to have an exit plan (which most don’t which is why it ends bad) so you can then transition into the legit world. But most trappers run their mouth and have no clue what they are actually doing.
