    Hello from Bulgaria.
This is the most amazing language I've heard too. If it's true that the language is the mirror of the soul, then the soul of ancient India must be like a candle in a dark cave. Modern India needs to preserve this light.

      Hello, Alexander.
It's a pleasure to be connected to connected with someone from Bulgaria. Your country is beautiful, culture is rich, and the entire Slavic world should be thankful to your great nation for inventing the Cyrillic alphabet.
That aside, thank you for complementing Sanskrit and India.
Sanskrit as a language is quite old (dates back to 5000-3000 BC) and isn't spoken by any people as their native language. But the modern languages that we speak in the North of India (Indo Aryan languages) are evolved from Sanskrit, and we still use a lot of words which are from Sanskrit or derived from it.
That said, we still use the same alphabet, and there are scholars who can read and write the language, therefore it is not a lost language, and in the forseeable future will not be.

Im from India. I know the story of madaalasa. This is in
Actually she was a Queen in those days. She was a gnani . To all her children she sang this above song, shudhosi, bhudhosi, niranjanosi.... once they were born.. and all the children became gnanis and nobody stayed in palace. Then the king asked madaalasa atleast one child to be crowned as king, since all the children became gnanis.
Then madaalasa didn't sang this for the last child when he was born. Then he became king. . In her last days she called the son and gave him.one golden box and told that he should open and see inside when he is trapped in a very big trouble or suffering and she died.
One day all His brothers came to the palace and fought with the king that this kingdom was theirs and he should go out of rhe palace. He argued with them, but could not succeed and became very restless and remembered his mother's wish.
Then he opened the golden box and saw this song was written inside the box. Then he read and came outside and told, " yes. This is not mine. You all take this kingdom, and rule. I will move out of this palace to seek gnana. Then he walked. Then those brothers also told, we also don't want this kingdom, just to remind you about this journey of soul, we acted like that.
That Quenn madaalasa was so great

ॐ I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it "Dharma" "धर्म ". "The law of Multiverse, ब्रह्मा़ंड " , "law of nature, प्रकृति". And the co existence of all three of us. प्रकृति, जीवात्मा and परमात्मा. This manifests itself in our way of life based on Sanatan Sanskriti. Vedic SANSKRITI is repository of knowledge of human evolution. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). Dharma has universal application without discrimination.
      1. According to the eternal knowledge on this ever existing mutliverse there is no creator or creation only the manifestation. Three always existed "Prakriti" the mutliverse/nature "jivatma" the creature /species and "Ishwar" the all pervasive Parmatma. The "purush" called jivatma the "prakriti" called nature and the "Ishwar" called all pervasive "paramatma".
"Neither created nor destroyed only changes forms" the famous quote of "Gita" by Lord Krishna sums it up regarding existence of this Multiverse and us. And how insignificant we are in this Multiverse has been described in detail in few references that if we as a human goes to certain "Devalok", some earth like planets in this Multiverse and spend just a day there and come back on earth how many Lakhs of years would have already been passed on this earth. Interesting calculation of one day of "ब्रह्म" equals numbers of years on "पृथ्वी" earth. ईशावासयम इदं सर्वम
This knowledge of universal applications gave such a good and peaceful life to its followers that India was the top economy of the world till 1200 AD since ancient time and supported most of the population in less lands and resources without destroying it unlike industrial civilization. Till the Islamic invaders took over the major part of India after several failed attempts of invasion loot and plunder.
      2. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) in south is called Hindu. Himalya Hi + indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Hindu + sthan. Any word added with "sthan" indicates its sanskrit origin. "sthan" became "stan" in apbhransh and prakrit. Has nothing to do with Persian or Arabic. Read the Aagmas and puran. I repeat Hindu word is of Indian origin and mentioned in Sanskrit text not a foreign word given by foreigners. But used mostly by them to identify the people living in this area.
The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created. They used this word so many times that it sounded like they created this word.
      3. Since" Dharma" evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमया". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent.
      4. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time.
      5. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Aagam, Nigam, Itihas, Puran, Vyakaran, chhand, Nirukta, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas.
And this great knowledge is not only confined to Sanskrit text but in all ancient languages like Tamil Prakrit Pali Malyalam Kannada Telgu Odiya Marathi Bangali etc. Difficult to describe them in detail here. Just leaving that on readers interest and reasrech according to their likings.
      6. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year.
      7. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant.
      8. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth .
      9. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers.
      10. Aghori sadhu is one example of acceptance of extremes by Sanatan dharma. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all.
You must have heard the news that NASA is recycling human pee and poo of scientists on board so they can survive on that for long in space. It's obvious that no madarsachhap can become such scientists.
      11. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. This is the reason from Sanatan dharma lots of ism like Jain, Buddha, Sikh, vaishnava Shaiva, Atheism, came out without any conflict or blood shed. Can you imagine the same with Abrahmic religion?
      12. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra according to their profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me
Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. In other words for ourselves we ourselves are our ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र. For our family we all ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र for each other.
But for the society we are ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र according to our profession to the society. In Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma.
To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants.
Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. To show respect we must touch feet not the head. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi like Valmiki, Vedvyas, Ravidas, Parashar etc were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally on an individual local social environment no support from Dharma
      13. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Brahmaand. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru.
This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish
      14. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. So better study the world's oldest surviving civilization based on Dharma with universal application, yourself. अहं ब्रह्मास्मी l तत त्वं असी. सर्वे जना:सुखिनो भवन्तु. सर्वे सन्तु निराम्या:l वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम l सत्यमेव जयते l ॐ शांति l and most relevant mantra of today सठे साठयम समाअचरेत. शांति

Just type Sinhala in Google and at least read the Google definition. It is an indo aryan language, meaning it came from prakrits from northern India. "Indo-European > Indo-Iranian > Indo-Aryan > Southern Zone > Insular Indic > Sinhala".
Secondly you mentioning religion. Sinhalese people were Hindus before 3rd century.Bce where they converted to buddhism. Even today all Sri lanakn Buddhists worship Hindu gods and we even spread that habit to some south east Asian countries.

Those who are listening for pleasure produced by the magnificence of Sanskrit, and those who are familiar with Vedanta and deeply meditate on these powerful stanzas. I wish, everyone who are appreciating the language, would eventually come to the place where I'm slowly stepping into - the abyss of realising the unity of existence. This Mother who sang for her children, not just sang for them, but also for me. For the entirety of humanity.

The Sanskrit original of Queen Madalasa's lullaby to her son, found in the Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa, chapter 25:
    शुद्धोऽसि बुद्धोऽसि निरञ्जनोऽसि संसारमायापरिवर्जितोऽसि ।
    संसारस्वप्नं त्यज मोहनिद्रां (मदालसोल्लपमुवाच पुत्रम् )॥
(the part in brackets differs from Shimshai's version - and I am only guessing what it meant to be in the following transcriptions)
    Transliterated (standard IAST romanization):
    śuddhosi buddhosi nirañjanosi saṃsāra-māyā-parivarjitosi .
    saṃsāra-svapnaṃ tyaja moha-nidrāṃ ( na janma-mṛtyor jaya sat-svarūpe ?? / MP: madālasollapam uvāca putram)
    PRONUNCIATION:
Transcribed into English (as close as English can get to) it would be:
    Shuddhosi, buddhosi, niranjanosi, sansaramaya-parivarjitosi.
Sansaraswapnam tyaja mohanidram (na janma-mrityor jaya sat-svarupe ?)
    Přepsáno do češtiny/slovenčiny:
    Šuddhósi, buddhósi, niraňdžanósi, sansáramájáparivardžitósi.
Sansárasvapnam tjadža móhanidrám (na džanmamrtjór džaja sat-svarúpé ?)
Transcribed into Hebrew, the correct Sanskrit pronunciation of the text is:
    שֻׁדּוֹסִה בֻּדּוֹסִה נִרַנְגַ׳נוֹא'סִה סַמְסָרַמָיָפַּרִבַרְגִ׳טוֹא'סִה .
    ... מַדָלַסוֹלַּפַּמֻבָצַ׳ה פֻּטְרַם
Transcribed into Cyrillic (Russian / Bulgarian, etc...):
    шуддхоси буддхоси ниранджаноси сансара-майа-париварджитоси .
    сансара-свапнам тйаджа моха-нидрам
    ( на джанма-мритйор джайа сат-сварупэ ?? / MarkandeyaPurana: мадаласоллапам увача путрам)
(Note: What is transcribed as "х" in Cyrillic is to be pronounced everywhere in this text as Ukrainian "г")

Bro how to save Sanatan Dharma in india as it is under continuous attack from peaceful community. Peacefuls are doing huge propaganda against Sanatan Dharma and its culture, traditions and scriptures. Our gurus are insulted and we see them insulting on social media like a c0ward. Our practices are continuously being maligned by Abdul puncture wala kaum. Our population is also not increasing as compared with Abduls as they c0nvert others but we never c0nvert thats why we are at loosing end. In modern democracy style government numbers matter. Many Western people follow Hindu knowledge and teachings and they do yoga and meditation like sanatani practices but they don't officially registers themselves as Hindus. That's why our population is not increasing. Even to practice Dharma we need peaceful environment and that can only come until we Sanatani are in majority in India. God forbid if our country becomes a Abdul majority country then we will never be able to practice Dharma like it was at the time of Aurangzeb. Our country can also become like @fghanistan, !raq, Syr!a, yemen etc. Please work to save Sanatan Dharma also then only our future generations can also receive such tremendous source of knowledge and we can make world a beautiful place to live in. We need to f!ght and counter Abdul community. Please you can use your platform for this purpose. Its do or d!e situation for our Sanatan civilization. Wake up and save it. We need to increase our population and stop Abdul kaum. Please do Dharma prachar and counter Abdul propaganda.

What did I just hear?! I am still having goosebumps! Not only the Sanskrit verses sound pristine, but also the meaning of the song is so beautiful and esoteric...
I have been studying the Advaita Vedanta for quite some time and this song is basically its core teachings in a short form. Also, for some time, I have been wanting to learn Sanskrit just so I am able to read the ancient Hindu scriptures in their original form. This channel gave me the enthusiasm to immediately get started with my studies.

I am sorry but nepal is slowly becoming Christian with huge poverty which is being exploited by Christian missionaries. The communists in Nepal are not doing anything to stop it .This happened in Indian state of kerala which is also ruled by the communists and that state is now a problem for entire north India as it sends fraud missionaries here. We have asked them not to send missionaries but kerala people won't listen and when we take action, they call us racists .In my state Himachal Pradesh, kerala people are most hated due to this reason. I hope people of Nepal will take this as an example and learn and preserve their 5000 year old tradition. Atleast teach your people about the scriptures so that they become enlightened and don't fall into the trap of prying missionaries. Problem here and in your country is ,we have many poor and illiterate people who have 0 knowledge of scriptures ,it's easy to fool them .This isn't the case in my state Himachal Pradesh but still there are few people like that in my state too and we here don't want even those to fall for these missionaries.

It is said, queen Madalasa used to sing such songs to her baby; the song has the message of the Beyond untouched by worldliness. The song had an effect on the baby. When the baby reached boyhood he left home in search of the Beyond (God). Then she had the second baby. Same happened to that boy. Then another baby. Same story. When the fourth baby was born the king made sure that the baby is taken away from the mother (Madalasa) and raised by other women and teachers. The fourth boy became a young man, then young king himself. One day when he was coming back home from a big victory in a war, he remembered something amid all the rejoicings that were going on around him. He had a talisman around his neck that his own mother (Madalasa) tied around his neck when he was taken away forcibly from his mother. He opened that talisman and found a piece of paper. The paper has the message of this song- You are pure. You are eternal. Finding God is your birthright. All of a sudden the young king remembered his mother singing. His heart ached for God. The young king alighted from the chariot, shunned the victory parade, and headed for the forest and hills (Himalayas) in search of God like his older brothers. Swami Vivekananda spoke of queen Madalasa. Madalasa's message is India's message.

The purpose of this story from Purana is not just for that kid but for all of humanity to learn this valuable lesson and reflect upon the truth.
      And information heavy or not
depends on individual character and preferences.
Queen is already from deep philosophical background always indulging herself in self realization hence it's not for any purpose she sang it, but naturally whenever she speaks and sings it will be of great wisdom as she's in that constant realized state.
So it could very much have been that she sang only to calm her baby or kid but what else can she sing but highest wisdom and enlightenment which she attained 😊🙏

    Namaskaram Gabriella,
I thank You so much for this great song! When I was pregnant, it pushed me to another level of motherhood. My babygirl was raised with it... (20 months old now). I almost know it by heart. I feel better, she sleeps deeper. :) It's a huge thing, you should know it. This song will stay with my babygirl forever. Maybe she will sing it to her baby.... Thanks again.
    Pranam.

They were incredibly advanced in science and technology..... Just look at the ancient temples of India..... The ancient Shri Jagannath temple stands strong as ever for thousands of years facing extreme cyclones almost every year..... Even modern technology cannot replicate their monuments.... Advanced maths, astronomy, medicine, surgery all started in ancient India....

lol No they perfected the arts they practiced but to claim it as technology is unacceptable. Furthermore if you really want to acknowledge the ancient Indians then learn how they evolved their mind, thoughts & challenged themselves constantly. You don't have to leave religion or ideology to do that but you need to understand their ways of questioning & answering before you can truly grasp their mind, world & their achievements.
