Just wondering if there is any difference in firing paper clay, vs regular clay? Do you fire it the same? Is there any smoke? Thank you

The Flax paper clay is fired to 1000 degree celsius on the bisque and then a glaze at 1230. This is usually the temp for medium fire clays such as mid/high fire stoneware. Yes it does give off a bit of smoke so I usually only put in a few pieces in with my regular porcelain. Paper clay is lovely and it's great for hand building. Hope this helps.

I've looked at my road paper clay bag constantly but then gone to the other clays to either throw or build. This is lovely to watch... And making me want to open that darned bag.... So Here goes ......
