If you do this again, instead of godmode, give them 1000 Dios. This way if you manage to steamroll one or they would die, they instead just get a 5-ish second stun. This also means collateral damage is risky for them and they need to play smarter. :)

Could try the modded sniper class instead of the railgunner next time. It's a nice throwback to ror1 and the sniper even has multiple ammo types available so every hunter could be running a different sniper.

i'm thinking right, there's a mod called something like console debug toolkits, and basically it allows you to use commands, and one of those allows you to go to the enemy team that would mean you're not able to see the runner's name and you can keep the normal hud so it would just be better for this

Did this before on console a few months ago. Added metamorphosis eventually so it was more chaotic as the runner had to say what the were but ever time the would coincidentally would delay a bit so they could run a bit farther (All 4 of us did).
Ima be real, dont blame you for removing the wandering vagrant. That shits hard 4 me normally ESPECIALLY with tbe exponential grow rates, it flying, it spawning minions, shooting orbs that deal massive amounts of damage, and having 3 railgunners sniping at you WHILE all that is happening would be mental
In future I would reccomend using the PrintToInventory mod so that items can't be stolen from printers, NoLockedInteractibles so that they can't stop you from getting items by starting the teleporter event, and use the console to set yourself as the enemy team so that you can just use the normal HUD and also not be able to see their health bars.
Reminds me of the invasion mod, it was pretty fun. You'd join a game in progress of a team of 1-4, and depending on how far they got or how long you waited you got an invisible "currency" you used to spawn in as a monster mob, or an evil version of the player characters. It gave you items to make sure your stats were around the average of the players so you wouldnt immediately be schwacked. I remember killing an entire team as the grovetender once.
from a loader main, there was a lack of usage of your mobility to its fullest extent here, both for offense and just mobility. ideally a good sideways-swing into chargepunch should easily send you across the map, or at least halfway. likewise, you should be less of sitting on bosses just m1ing them, and more of going for those sweet sweet earthshatter-level chargepunches, as those can easily chunk a boss down in just a few blows. being so mobile would have also assisted you in survival against the railgunners, as they would have had a harder time catching up to you, and you would have been better able to break line of sight to them. it did get better later on, but overall your mobility could use some work. don't forget your swing can be influenced by directional input! never underestimate the power of the HEAVY aspect of loader's chargepunch.
from a loader main, I agree with your assessment from a PvE perspective. However, the average DPS of using charged gauntlet is only slightly higher than Loader's regular attack. I used to play the way you described, but had to retrain my big number farming ape brain as I found much more value in sitting inside/around the boss whenever possible to make bosses soak up shots for me and maintain barrier. Not too much point in breaking line of sight, since Railgunner can see my hitbox through walls when scoped in, even with HUD off, so it was much effective to turn it into a game of Where's Waldo. I definitely should've just done flybys against Big Imp tho. The other influencing factor was what items I had. With Kjaro's band or a Backup Magazine, I played a lot more charge-heavy, but if I had a bunch of leeching seeds or other on-hit items I would stick with the old mouse 1

A couple changes I'd suggest: RUnners shouldn't be invincible. To compensate, give them 100 scythes- or some other way to guarantee a chunky heal after hitting the player- 400 armor, effectively 5x max health; a laser scope, and they gain a dios every stage (if this can't be/you don't want to make it automated, just give them 8 dios at the beginning of the run). Additionally, with Aerolt/Debugtoolkit, you can change the team of the RUnners to be enemies, making it much less likely that they die on accident via not the player and meaning you can turn off Chaos for an extra challenge for the player.
if this is could help you can use the develper consle to put the hunters on team 2 (base enemy team) (team 3 is lunar enemys and team 4 is void enemys) that way they die in all the same ways as base enemys, they die when falling off the map and cant pick up items.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I liked having to throw myself into risky situations to compete for items, and I liked that the railgunners had to risk damaging the boss to hit me
During test runs, he was having issues killing the Vagrant. It being flying, hard to consistently hit, and not providing cover made it easy for the snipers to hit him. Also the low hp nuke would kill all other enemies and remove more cover, along with wasting his time. There's also another comment from Meaty below about it.
Since you've never seen them, I assume you probably play on a console. Supposedly they are working on porting the DLC to console but since it's been well over a year now since it released on pc they likely scrapped it

There is no definitive evidence that I did. However, hypothetically, if I were to deliberately remove that enemy from the game and had to state why, it would be for the following reasons: - It's a first stage boss, and the first stage is already the hardest part for the solo player - When attacking, the solo player has to be airborne and ends up as a sitting duck - its explosions clear out all the enemies, making it even harder to hide and mantain barrier - The explosions force passivity at a frequency that makes it outheal all damage without a damage-boosting item. - Since the boss spawning in stage 1 is akin to an instant loss, I would rather immediately reset the run upon seeing it, which would be unfun for the sniper team - it is dumb and smelly and i hate it Again, hypothetically speaking of course.

incredibly real. i understand why they played on drizzle, as the odds are stacked against them, but it's also 4 player difficulty so there's an insane amount of items available on each stage so it doesn't make sense to play on such a low difficulty. additionally, the argument that it would be unfair to loader is stupid as you could just give the railgunners a bunch of dios so that youre never softlocked, just difficult as they'll respawn within a few seconds after killing them.

it's on drizzle though, so enemies are incredibly underlevelled (-50% enemy scaling) and you have +70 armor and 1.5x regen
