Super well done video, super appreciate the amount of effort that went into it. Yeah that wasnt my best video, lol. Keep in mind I uploaded that a year and a half ago, and it was one of the first streams id done for this game, I would like to think my gameplay has greatly improved since then, looking back it is pretty embarrassing, and isnt something id upload today. Congrats on beating the challenge though, its about time somebody did!
Yo it's cool that you ended up seeing this. I'm glad you made your video despite it not being your proudest moment, because this video wouldn't exist otherwise. Mad respect for what you do, and hopefully my jabs didn't come off as too mean-spirited
10:30 mithrix has two health bars, the one you see, and an invisible one that determines when you get your items back, the health bar that returns items cant be healed so even if he keeps healing back up to full you will stil get items back
@@5uperM Cap_ has a video called The Secrets of Phase 4 Mithrix and the section from 2:29 to 5:03 shows that while damage reduction on mithrix reduces item drops, healing does not.
I was surprised to see you only had 500 subs. This video was incredibly well made, especially the way you showed the last run. Ruina ost is also op. As for why final phase mithrix could still give items, I think it's because his health doesn't matter, just the damage or number of hits that was dealt to him. at the end of a god run where you have 10 medkits and you can't put a dent in him, you're still able to get your items if you hit him enough
Dang I appreciate the high praise. I definitely thought I was stuck on Mithrix because it took several minutes to knock even one item out. Also yeah Library of Ruina's OST pops off, been streaming my first playthrough on twitch over the last month and I've been really enjoying it so far
I saw this video and have now watched all your videos today, Honestly for such a new channel your content is so good. Honestly one of my new favorite channels.
Dude, what a fucking video! Not only was the feat insanely impressive, but setting me up for heartbreak, only to see you actually did it was such a solid idea with an incredibly effective execution.
"One could also stand to shut the fuck up a bit" got me. Just found your channel thanks to the almighty algorithm gifting me the DS2 No Stamina run, and I'm very glad it did!
6:46 I don't laugh at many videos but lordy this was good, I really hope you gain a ton of subs since if you appeared in my recommended then your probably on others as well, cant wait to see you rise up man
A thought occured to me while watching this. The primordial cube black hole does no damage but brings enemies close together, making the artifact of spite more effective and making 2nd phase much more doable.
When I saw that chimera clipping through the ceiling I thought that's how it was gonna end, with him just phasing out of bounds. I was ready to be depressed.
Bruh why the hell do you only have 528 subs like you have so much dedication for this and you deserve so many more i was expecting to see at least half a million subs when i got down here you are a beast and deserve recognition i hope you get that soon
This could easily be a million sub channel, plenty of gaming channels do less massochist, less entertaining stuff with fewer editing, yet have millions, so there is a very high potential here for growth.
Brother, you literally had me on the edge of my seat saying to myself "Oh god, don't tell me he dies here" like 3 times there, holy hell I've never felt such a roller coaster of emotions. You got me with that bait and switch at the end, you got me :)
this challenge seems just as painful as going through each 3d sonic game without seeing a single glitch and if you did, you had to restart from the beginning every time
This is a great video, just one correction. You said that going straight for the boss was a good strategy for this, but I think you've been misinformed about how the difficulty scales with time. As the timer goes up, the difficulty increases linearly, but when you go to a new stage the difficulty is multiplied, meaning it grows exponentially for each stage. The multiplying effect is the only thing that really matters in the long run, it just makes that much more of a difference. The consequence of this is that the most important thing in normal ror2 is to get every item every stage without worrying about time per stage (within reason). But if you use the artifact of sacrifice you can stay as long as you want because the harder the enemies get, the more items they drop. Also, enemies spawned during the teleporter drop fewer items and give less gold, meaning you were shooting yourself in the foot by rushing the tele. Anyways, you managed and the video is great, so it doesn't really matter that it could've been easier. If anything, farming stage 1 for an hour wouldn't have made for as good content.
What kind of sicko would subject himself to this kind of mental anguish and pain??? _hears Project Moon music in the background_ Oh no that makes sense now
I don’t know why but the way your voice changes during runs and during narration is throwing me through a loop thinking your 2 different people. Also have a wonderful day or night to who ever reads this.
For the record, I'd have happily accepted a command run. Letting the RNG decide whether you are capable of beating the run or not is bullshit no matter how you slice it. It's not like it takes zero skill to not die the whole run anyway.
You really had a solid grasp on me with that suspense
leave them uncertain

can you source this info? I have trouble finding anything about that on the wiki

i can barely beat monsoon normally let alone without dealing damage. extremely impressive
Actually, this was my first time beating the game on monsoon

What a fucking amazing jebait at the end there lmao. Your channel is amazing for its size, insta subbed and I'm here to wait for more quality content.

this video is amazing please keep going
So blown away by this channel. Godspeed, can’t wait to see what comes next o7
Quite honestly the fact you would endure this much CBT for such good quality content... I'm in love. Subbed. Keep up the good work
I can recognize a Just A Pancake viewer just by the sodoku

I don’t know how you got into my recommendations, but I liked this video. Btw your voice is pretty cool.

I have nothing but respect for the sheer amount of (deranged) dedication on display here!
Absolutely insane, this man keeps delivering no matter what
My heart was genuinely pounding during that last run, I felt that shit bro!
Oh man, the moment i saw that "CENSORED" sign at 1:37 the memories started flowing in. Please have my like, kind cultured sir.
NEVER BACK DOWN! NEVER SURRENDER!

how do you not have more subs this was so well made, had me laughing, and on the edge of my seat with the amount of suspense
“You guys don’t deserve me” made me laugh way harder than it should have 😂

This video was my first exposure to risk of rain 2. I now have 500 hours logged and I'm grinding eclipse levels
good video, hope you grow
Thanks!
man takes the fucking mountain while enduring the most excrutiating pain known to mankind, loving it
LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH. What a great creation.
2:22 that scream "Let me GAH" kinda scary, really funny
Incredible. Powerful. Moving. Easily my new favorite risk of rain video
Ayo hidden gem content creator?
Solid vid
Highly entertaining, and very good writing for this!
Here from DS2 vid. Banger content and personality 👍
By eluding to the idea that you didn't win the run genuinely made it so much more suspenseful and honestly made seeing you succeed so much better
Holy shit I did not think that run would be possible, but you actually did it!!!! Good job!
I don't deserve you, thank you for all your hard work. I'll grovel at your feet.
The fact you used Lobotomy Corporations "Censored" bars from one of its abnormality automatically makes me love you.
LOR music! instant subscribe, and what an interesting challenge, the most skilled gamer!
wow imagine doing it with artifact of chaos. that sounds like a skill issue to me
6:14 Monsters only stop spawning once the teleporter hits 99%, you could bait the boss away to avoid softlocking.
You risk of rain guys are crazy as hell... I love it
this challenge seems just as painful as going through each 3d sonic game without seeing a single glitch and if you did, you had to restart from the beginning every time
i respect both your patience and the use of the ruina soundtrack

wow u are really underrated this video was really engaging
THAT WAS THE MOST INTENSE ENDING TO A TH-cam VIDEO I'VE EVERY SEEN
“You can’t truly call yourself peaceful, unless you’re capable of great violence"
*slams table* EMOTIONAL. DAMAGE!
0:43 relatable
never even played risk of rain but gotta watch it anyways cuz all ur videos are certified bangers

New to Risk of Rain 2 but I can say one thing: This was a banger of a video!
My thoughts this whole time were just "strides of heresy exists"
Subscribed! DS2 and RoR with unique gameplay!
this video goes hard. can't wait to see the upside down minecraft hardcore
Tbh the DLC probably would have made this easier. The corrupted mushrooms are almost perfectly built for this sort of run.
What kind of sicko would subject himself to this kind of mental anguish and pain???

Oh no that makes sense now
Every ror2 coop player I play with somehow is doing this challenge when I play with them
Glad I found this channel!
I loved the rage moments
Yooo the Library of Ruina music 9:50

underrated youtuber tbh
"the hardest difficulty in the game"
Eclipse 8: am i a joke to you?
mithrix eventually finishes himself off
damn, you're good at this youtube thing
Mithrix has a secondary health bar for the item returns, it doesnt receive healing thats why it doesn't
You have the best taste in music
Im commenting to boost engagement cause u deserve more subs
Here's my validation

Good fucking shit. You had me hook line and sinker at the end

the hard part for me would by far be attacking out of instinct
Who knew the lockpicking lawyer played ror2.
Wait what the hell this guy only has 500 subs? Im getting my early sub ticket rn
I saw those CENSORED bars and did a fucking double take lol, love the video. Out of curiosity, any Lobcorp/Ruina content coming in the future?
I streamed the two games earlier thia year but I don't think I'll end up making any videos on them
my mom said the same
I noticed you don't have the expansion. I highly recommend it as it adds some fun items and gameplay additions.
