World’s Largest HPV Race: Unhinged’s Opening Highlights!

  • In this video, we take you through the notable moments from the AHPVSS Round 6, the 24-hour race at Murray Bridge. Unhinged had a smooth and consistent run, finishing 6th out of 175 competitors! With no major incidents or mechanical issues, we maximised our rolling time and kept pushing forward.
    Over nearly 23 hours (with about 1 hour lost to red flags), we completed an impressive 579 laps of 1.71 km each, totalling 990 km at an average speed of 43 km/h. We’re proud of what we accomplished!

    “About the Australian International Pedal Prix at Murray Bridge:
    2024 will see the 38th running of the Australian International Pedal Prix, the biggest Human Powered Vehicle race in the world, held at the scenic Sturt Reserve complex at Murray Bridge.
    This final round of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series will see the Series winners crowned.
    Scrutineering will be held on Friday, September 20th, with gates open at 6 am for teams to set up and prepare their pits.
    Entry is $20 for all attendees and $20 for all cars entering the venue (2024 pricing).
    Racing will get underway from 12 noon on Saturday, September 21st, on the scenic roadway around Sturt Reserve, alongside the mighty Murray River.
    The 2024 Australian International Pedal Prix is proudly supported by the Rural City of Murray Bridge.”
