If you take resistance reading of bad line to gnd and adjacent lines will u see any particular short or bad reading? Seems it's guesswork only, right?

Ckv lines are alway in a group of lines. Some have labels on it.

My predator laptop was working fine. One day it suddenly stopped turning on. The display light is there for 3 seconds and then it turns back off.

It's hard to pinpoint the problem. Refer it to other laptop technicians.

You've got a short on one of the power rails on the mainboard. But, in order to track it down, we'd have to have this mainboard on the bench. It's impossible to just guess the fault :D. Sorry.
