this transcription is by me, so as usual, expect errors and questionable engraving choices. all instruments are written at concert pitch. accidentals generally only apply to the note they precede, but they aren't restated for repeated or tied notes. the drum notation I use is fairly standard I think but summarized here: imgur.com/a/3I1pMuH
it came to my attention shortly after I began working on this that a score for the piece is available for purchase here: pirecordings.com/product/echo..., and I referenced the perusal page when doing my transcription (though I decided to do things a little differently). if you are performing or analyzing the work, please buy the score instead, not least because the accuracy of my transcription shouldn't be trusted. if you'd like me to take down this video, please contact me and I will do so.
anyway, bit off more than I could chew with this one tbh. I have no experience with any of these instruments, especially with drums where I had pretty much no idea what I was doing. and I'm still just too used to 12-tet so I have a strong tendency to "round" microtones to an adjacent pitch. but hopefully I was able to show at least some of what's cool about Steve Lehman's music. - เพลง
This is an awesome piece. Some great lines for the alto sax-very improvisational feel.
