I always love seeing videos that showcase the facilities that my alma mater has to offer. A point of feedback that I would like to share for future marketing material surrounding residence halls, is that as a higher ed institution we should no longer be referring to the buildings as "Dorms", especially in official material. This will seem like a minor point, but any housing or residence life professional will confirm the same sentiment. The word "dorm" carries a negative connotation surrounding where students live, such that it is only a place where students sleep. The term "residence hall" has better meaning behind it, especially for the mission of CC where students are living in residence together and the buildings are more than just places for students to sleep but a place where community is built and CC becomes a students home away from home. Following that, it would also be recommended to not use the language of "freshman" as that word in higher education is also being transitioned away from for the use of the more inclusive term "first-year". These points again, while being small, are important for someone to make since it appears that other marketing officials at the institution aren't. I bring these things up as feedback though because I care about the institution and only wish to see it do better, but language is important in higher ed, and so it also needs to be reflected in marketing and promotional material.

Wow.... glad I didn't graduate with people like you. Guad was a freaking party blast in the early 2000's my class was the 1st to have girls living in the building with boys 😆 🤣 😂. I loved the DORMS and my FRESHMAN year was an absolute blast.

I hid a sandwich in the ceiling on 1st floor in 2003- you should see if it's still up there....
