Fire damaged 1943 archtop guitar - back to life!

The Phoenix - (a.k.a. Ol'Smokey) soon it’ll be on the road with me! There was some doubt for sure, this old LEVIN was in extremely bad condition from surviving a house fire, being drenched in water and left as it was in a fabric bag for years. Roughly 80% of the glue had dissolved with lots of rust and mould.. 😅 It intonates much, much better than I hoped for and now the neck/fretboard’s straight as an arrow, haha! I’m happy with the progress. 🔥🔥✨🎉 Here's a demo jam to show how it rose from the ashes to sing the blues!!

I have been admiring this guitar in previous videos and now it's amazing to see how and why it looks so good. Amazing work! You have a fantastic sound by the way
