I know that they have realeased the songs that they added to the original, but there’s no full album, sadly.

I WANT TO PLAY PETER IN THIS VERSION WITH ALL OF MY HEART! AHHH ITS SO AMAZING AND FUNNY AND QUIRKY AND AHH
I kind of wish this show had been left alone. I fell in love with the score (or what there was of it, which was, I think, most if not all) from the preview, giveaway CD, years ago. Then came the actual cast recording, which was good, though some things weren't nearly as excitingly performed (like, for instance, the 'vision' song with Mother Mary. Then saw an excellent local production; fantastic. Since then, things I've heard that were changed or added just don't give the same thrill. Guess I'll just have to live in a time warp, when it comes to BARE.
I know this comment is 5 years old, and I could be wrong but I think nowadays (well, pre-Covid but that same idea) most of the productions of Bare were the pop opera original version, not the musical.
Wish I'd known about this performance. I loved this number from the musical (which I saw so many times in three months, that the man at the ticket booth told me that next time I came, I'd have to bring him coffee.)

Lynne Shankel You would have appreciated seeing the reactions from some audience members, upon hearing "You're Not Alone." Gulping, choking, crying; one man had been sipping on a drink, but the drink was down midway through the song, and by the end, he looked so overwrought, I actually leaned over and asked him if he was okay. I could see this struck a deep chord with people who must have gone a long time feeling they were alone.
There were so many comparisons between this show, and the pop opera, and complaints that they weren't the same; it was unfortunate that the critics couldn't appreciate each on its own merits. I sat in front of someone at one show who spent the entire time telling his companion how the musical differed from the original. My son had never seen the original show, but he apparently knew the music, because when I mentioned seeing "Are You There" performed at Broadway on Broadway, he promptly said, "Oh, I know the show, good music, they commit suicide in the end." My only comfort was that he was wrong in the body count.
I brought him to see the show eventually, along with two of his ex-boyfriends--just the typical American family. I was not going to have a repeat of the show with the simultaneous criticizing, so I stared them down before it opened and said, "I don't care what you have to say when you've seen the whole show, but if I hear a single word during the show, I am going to hurt you." And in the end, they did enjoy it. Like WICKED and The Wizard of Oz, the two Bare universes can peacefully co-exist; just check the comparisons at the door. I'm sure, eventually, this will be what will happen. The plots were the same, but the relationships had very different dynamics, that touched the audience in different ways, the comfort and familiarity of one longstanding relationship, and the joy and excitement of a new love. Peter and Jason gave us a lot of "ahhh" moments, with Jason's awe at being touched, physically and emotionally, by another boy; and Peter's glee and amazement that the jock for all seasons had chosen him. "You and I" perfectly captured those few occasions in our lives when we are so thrilled by what is happening, that all we can think is "I can't believe this is happening to me."
I'm looking forward to watching all these videos, and I'll keep an eye out to see if the show is done again at 54 Below.

It's not
in 2004, bare did go by the title "musical" it went by "a pop opera" and it evolved into the musical in 2012. i personally prefer the pop opera version, but this song is a super cute addition to the show.
