THANK YOU ...! the way you explain everything is so much easier to understand..
I love how you repeatedly say beta 1...2.. and where they come from and the list of the normal responses! love it!!! you just earned a new subscriber. Thanks!
Thank you. I love breaking things down because that is the only way it goes to long-term memory! I’m glad you like the video ❤️
Great refresher for new grad ICU nurse! Thank you so much DrRN.
Thank you for your video! Now I finally understand everything on alpha & beta. (When you keep repeating the "1 heart 2 lungs" was very helpful to memorise too)
thank you this was incredibly helpful and FINALLY it now makes sense! You have a great way of explaining everything and reviewing as you go. Thank you thank you!!
Thank you for the amazing feedback! If there is anything you would like to see, let me know what topics you want to see. I will be doing a seizure on this week so look out for it!
Don’t forget to share the video with everyone!
🦋Dr. David 🦋
WOW, so clear to understand. Your amazing, thanks for making this vlog.
Thank helps so much!! You broke it down where I could perfectly understand the pneumonic, or the anagram that I received with these kinds of drugs.. "without AC you're going to have a BD- bad day" and the pics you put were perfect!🤩🙏
Thank you sooooo much!!!!! I started pharmacology 3 weeks ago and failed my first test and part of it was because I didn’t understand definitions and keeping beta and alpha receptors straight and understanding their function. You taught this very well. Now I just have to review it. Thank you so much!
I am so happy to hear that. I always strive for students to understand the concept first. Let me know if I can help you further...have a blessed rest of your night 😊
Looking forward to talking with you on Sunday!
DrRegisteredNurse yes ma’am. Thank you so much! Watching it right now.
You are more than enough for me! thank you so much, Dr. Davis!!!
With getting ready to take a final over the ANS, this video has been very helpful in dissecting the difference between alpha and beta receptors. Thanks!

Awesome video! Definitely put the icing on my studying!

OMGG thank you so much that video was perfect!!
Thank you for the feedback, and for the support! Make sure to share the channel, and subscribe(if not yet)!!! 🦋
Love the way you have broken this down, in a simple but concise way, I have had issues understanding this topic, but now its very clear , thank you.
Very nicely explained
Amazing!
Thank you!!! You made this topic so easy to understand! Can I say that I absolutely love you!!!
Awww, thank you! I know the struggle it is to understand these concepts, so our goal is to make it easy to understand. I know that many times the videos are a little longer than the usual TH-cam video others posts, but I truly believe in the importance of being thorough in a fun way without skipping steps. When you skip steps or try to make things short just for views, do you really learn from that? Not really...i need all of you to have good understanding so that you can retain the information, as opposed to memorizing it. Thank you for the I love you comment, I love you as well..your support in the growth of this channel is much appreciated 🦋❤️🦋
Dear Dr Registered Nurse,
Thank you VERY much for this video. This is a content that wasn’t clear to me, but this video made it make sense. Thank you so much.
This is awesome thanks. I shared with my class
Thank you
Well explained. THANKS for sharing your knowledge!
I will start nursing school this fall but I'm studying ahead of time and I will certainly use your videos. They are simple to understand. Thank you.
Excellent news! And good for you for preparing ❤️
Wowzers... I actually understand this ! Thanks so much !
I like the explanation of alpha and beta receptors. It would have been good if you would have had the drugs that are alpha receptors and drugs that are beta receptors to go along with each one.
Very well Explained Thank you for refreshing my knowledge
Note:
Beta 2 receptor get inhibited . So the diameter of bronchioles get increased. In normal condition, the wall of bronchioles undergoes contraction , thus maintaining the small diameter way for air
thank you for this video. it made me understand the Adrenergic antagonist and agonist effects.
Thank you so much, Dr. David. This was a lovely refresher for our alpha/beta receptors! I would like to have seen examples of common medications in each category to fully reconnect this knowledge, but it was otherwise very easy to follow and understand. Thanks again!
Wow ,I’ve been struggling with this I finally understand 🥺😫Thank you so much
Can you please do pharmacology videos please ?
Today I am recording a video on Beta Blockers...
Hi Lilly, I put up a video on Beta Blockers yesterday..go check it ou!

You da bomb girl!!... thank you💜 can you do one on electrolytes please.😁
I am going to start doing videos in a couple of weeks again. Do you follow me on Tik tok? I have some electrolyte videos there ...under my same name
I will search for you on tictoc. Thank you
You got it! Comment on one of the videos so that I know it’s you 😊
This was so helpful thank you !!!
I am glad it helped!!! Thank you ❤️
I loved the way you explained. Thank you so much .
Very thorough. I just wanted to point out, though.. from my understanding that the increase in HR and increase in contractility happen independently of each other.. one does not cause the other.
Wow thanks I understand now how beta blockers works and where they are located So I like your explanation
Thank youuu! I have been so confused by this in studying for NCLEX, trying to nail down principles and not just memorization of lists. I should have known to check out Dr. David first! Another home run 🏆

Thank you so much for explaining this in a way I can finally understand. Btw has anyone ever told you, you look like Lisa Bonet? You could be her twin. Thanks again Doctor for sharing this. 🥰🙏👏
I’m glad the video helped you. And no I have never been told I looked like her...however, I have been told I look like Laila Ali
Oh ok, I can’t see Laila but I can see Lisa haha. Anyway, can I ask if you can do a video on medications suffixes? I find most videos confusing. You seem to teach in way I can understand. Thanks for your reply. 🙏🥰
@@gabbyrogersnest751 great idea. Will do
Don't the blood vessels constrict to cause dilation of the arteries? Not the arteries for alpha 1?
When construction occurs, Pressure rises…
