    Thanks for all your videos Jan ! i just purchased a studio x30 for a small room (5 people) but i am very disappointed with the microphones. Are they specific settings to adjust in the interface? What other things shoud i check? thanks in advance for your help

      Hi thanks for your comments. Good to hear you got a Studio X30 should be perfect for smaller rooms first make sure you are on 3.14.2 or higher. I have seen challenging sometimes in the combination with room acoustics (glass windows, high ceiling etc) you could first try some settings under audio settings via WebUI for example turn off -noiseblockAI - setting and another audio setting is - transmission gain - you can set that to 2 or 3 or higher just to try if anything changes in the pickup... hope that helps. ☕JZ

      @@janzoetemelk Hi Jan, thanks for the quick answer. I am using the latest version and i tested different settings but it is not really better. Could be a network issue. Do you know which port tcp or udp should be priorized for the network?
      another question : if it does not work better, do you think the addition of the trio c60 will be way better for the microphones?

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mwenda, thats a great question. You can integrate Studio X50 and G7500 today with for example Shure P300 (see bit.ly/3tFitoV video) which is able to support all sort of ceiling tiles.. does that help? I expect also more DSP providers to be supported in future..

    Hi, I have the x50 version of polystudio. Is it to use with usb cable? Without using the tablet

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Adam, thanks for your comments. You first need to decide which Video App you want to use on the X50 Teams, Zoom, Permanent Device mode etc... then you can use USB cable from X50 in your laptop and reuse camera, speaker and mic in case needed... you don't require a TC8 at the table you can also use TV touch screen or a mouse to control the device... does that help? Is there a specific use case?

    We have the larger Studio device and it works well. It presents as a standard USB Web/Mic device - so the services you can use are really anything that you can run via the PC. Do these smaller X-models have the same functionality?

    • @janzoetemelk
      @janzoetemelk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comments William. You can start a meeting using the web interface of Studio X30, X50 or G7500 but this will be in PolyOS mode using H.323 or SIP. You also have remote meeting DTMF controls and camera PTZ. Does that help? I can create a video on web interface calling features if that would help...

      @@janzoetemelk thank you 4 thé quick follow up. So that means that a Teams meeting can be started as well ? We have some rooms with touchscreens so that is no problem to control the unit, but we also have some rooms with regular screens (no touch) and we would like to avoid placing the TC8 to avoid placing an extra cable. In that scenario thé webinterface is our best option we think?

You are totally right in case of rooms with touch screen use TV UI to join a Teams Meetings no TC8 needed, in the other scenario with no touch screen and no TC8 at the table why dont you use "Teams proximity join"? See my other video about "proximity join" demonstrating this option... worthwhile to investigate.. Microsoft will also be adding "Teams Casting" soon same user workflow from the laptop but in that case not a meeting - only to share content to a Native Teams device... does that help?

      Thanks for your comments. The new X30, X50 and G7500 Family has a full set of APIs for room control integration in the PolyOS mode (similar as Group Series). X30 and X50 over IP and G7500 also serial(see datasheet). In case you use it in Native Zoom or later Native Teams mode the APIs will not be available as the specific vendor App will be running.

      Great question.. the LED colors on StudioX are controlled by the apps so could differ.. usually for a meeting room green means mic is open and red is muted.. in any case you can turn LED bar off or change brightness in Studio X web portal.. at the entrance you might have a scheduling panel which when booked is usually red.. hope that helps.. ☕🛠
