The Black Parade album is heavily inspired by Queen and prog rock, Revenge is inspired by metal and hardcore punk, Bullets is inspired by gothic metal and traditional emo music and Danger Days is a dance punk, rock n roll shredfest party! Have fun young one 🫡🫡

There are not many albums that I would consider "perfect," even ones I love. But this album? This album is start to finish hands down perfect. Not a single skip, not a single dull moment. It is iconic and deserves to be. Listen to the whole thing!

I saw these guys September 2022 for their reunion tour. After being a fan since middle school 2006. Holy shit it was so cathartic it was like a full blown religious experience. Everyone singing the songs. Wow just wow.
So many different emotions in this album. Triumph, despair, love, loss. It's been one of my favorite's ever since I first listened to it in middle school back in 08.
It always blows my mind this is the end of the album because, wow what song to go out on!
honestly, though.
this song is and was on another plane, comparatively. it spoke beyond everything they'd ever written about and yet encapsulates it all as well. it's like you really could feel the bands message in this one. even the music video on MTV went so hard. just them showing their pain and passion.
This song was so important to me, I ended up getting some of the lyrics as a tattoo. Welcome to the Black Parade is just such an amazing album!

I like to think of this song as a final stand between the Parader and the Patient. The Patient knows his time is up and is regretting being unable to do more with his life and the Parader is saying "fight through this. You might not make it, but at least you'll have fought."
I'd love to see you react to more My Chemical Romance!! This is one of the all time best bands ever and I'm so jealous you get to hear them for the first time!!

Maybe this is cheesy, but I listen to this song whenever I’m feeling depressed. It’s super powerful when you’re feeling hopeless.

If you want a hard-hitting My chemical romance listen to cancer. One of the most beautiful and heartbreaking songs
I’m sure a lot of MCR fans already know this, but the albums story is one of the most intense stories in my album collection.
It tells the story of a guy in the hospital dying of cancer. He was an asshole to the people he was closest to in his healthier days, and each progressing song goes more in depth of that. Also as the album goes on, the main character is coming to terms with the fact that he’s going to die soon.
The tracks were fitted in a way for the listener to imagine one song is the main character, and the next song is death itself talking to him, so on so on, increasing in intensity as the album continues.
Teenagers is the backstory of the main character and how he was before he got cancer, and Mama being about the backstory of death, which in this theory could be a WW1 soldier who died on the Battlefield.
The Black Parade track is the main character dying and joining The Black Parade aka the angels, with the parade being based off of one of his favorite childhood memories with his father, thus creating what his “heaven” is.
To wrap up this theory, if the song starts out with simple chords or harmonics, then it’s told from the cancer patient, if the song starts heavy and loud, then it’s told from death. This can be observed from how the first song is immediately cut off going straight into the second track and so on.
Like I said, a lot of MCR fans may have heard this theory in the past, but in case you haven’t, keep this theory in mind next time you listen through it, definitely gives chills.

In my opinion The Black Parade was the absolute perfect final album for MCR. I really can't think of any other concept they could have used for a final "goodbye".
