Another great episode bloke! Check out how Swallow Yachts (UK) seal the area around the outboard in their wells. It’s very clever and a simple concept. Stay Salty!
I really like the double enders especially the Bar Tender. They have that style of motor well on the out board version. I wish i had the time and money to buy or build one. The 19’ would be an awesome little run about. I like the 26’ or 29’ if i was do a cruiser. I vote for the pilot house. I like idea if being able to sit under cover or stand up and see what’s going before opening door
I really like the Skipper 20 episodes. Probably because I’m more of a sailboat guy than a power boat guy. I have always liked the rope rub rails, but have never been able to find a place to buy them. That rubber hinge in ingenious. I am definitely going to use that in the future. Great episode!!
Thanks for the great comments Mark 👍😁 I like the Skipper 20 episodes because they show some simple projects and skills that can lead to bigger moments of completion. 😎
Thanks for another inspiring episode. I really like the expert way you crafted this video. Very sharp, the editing and narration is worth studying for me. I hope you know all your hard work is being seen. Thanks
I can see a glass deck in the motor well, and tighten the hole a bit . Add a rubber boot around midsection of outboard. I use hardener in Rustoleum oil base paint, I spray, but roll and tip works too. Never had much luck with the topside variant.
Thanks for the comment Dave. 👍😁 I love Interlux Brightside as a one part paint, but it is expensive and Rustoleum Marine Topside has become my budget go to paint. Time with you. The Rustoleum is a budget secret still, and it sprays well 😂Pennie’s saved on the paint allow me to do other special projects 😁

Thanks so much mate 👍😁Love your channel. I’m going to check that out first sure 👍
Swallow Yachts uses Mylar Flaps to cover the opening of the engine well on the hull.
👌
Thank you!
No thank you 😁

Another great video! I’ve had good results with the Rustoleum topside paint too.
Me too Joe. 👍😁I will talking about that on the next video where I begin painting the Skipper 20 sailboat. ⛵️
