Delmar Paramedic B-74 responds from ER to MVC

- June 1, 2017. The busy day continues for Delmar. While at the emergency room after transporting a high priority patient from the MVC with entrapment, a second MVC call comes in for Station 74. Paramedic B-74 responds from the hospital to the scene. At approximately the 7:02 time in the of the video you can see Delaware State Police Trooper 2 helicopter transporting the final patient from the MVC with entrapment call. Look left in the large cloud.
This video is long, it's the complete journey from emergency room to accident scene. Laurel A-81 also responded from the hospital to the scene behind us. Delmar Truck 74 and Laurel Engine 81-4 responded and arrived on-scene prior to the ambulances. Delmar is located on the Delaware/Maryland border. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Yes Josh your observation is correct, it's the same intersection of E. Line Road and Old Stage Road on the Maryalnd/Delaware border.
Is that a vol or pd dept
By our local definitions it is a volunteer Fire Dept, with 9 career full time. 2-4 career on duty depending on day and time.

It was good to see that most people yielded to the emergency lights and siren, except for the taxi who finally reluctantly moved over. I guess that could be expected, who ever saw an non-arrogant intelligent taxi driver? It is also surprising how many pig shit for brains, self-centered jerks simply ignore the siren, air horn and lights because it is too much trouble and beneath them to allow something as insignificant as a human in jeopardy to interfere with their precious itinerary. I wish upon them the agony of watching someone dear to them die because someone else failed to yield and medical help was delayed. I respond to MVC, illnesses, fires and other personal emergencies and am all too familiar with such arrogance.
I'm also glad that nobody panicked... There was no pointless slamming to the side of the road, no stopping unecessarily, just slowing down and clearing the left lane. Good driving.
You really overused the priority and yelp here. Powercall would do just fine for clear cruising.
And I can't even begin to picture what your light patterns look like from up front. Those crazy sloppy de-synced fire truck patterns, yup. Flashing half of your lights then the other half would be much more visible at long ranges + it psychologically looks more important fsr.
Finn K Interesting opinions. I've never heard anyone analyze siren usage before, I just think of it as the siren is in use or it's not. I'm not sure what you're thinking about with regard to the apparatus markings so I can't comment on that. As far as light patterns go, it's a preprogrammed setting, we turn them on, they flash, and that works for me. Thank you for watching the video.
