Marketing: More voltage battery is obviously better and company do it to show that they have higher voltage cells then the competition. 2. Quality: Some li-ion batteries are capable of holding more charge then 4.2v max limit. they can go up to around 4.35v etc. These batteries are costlier and they have more "CAPACITY" as well compared to the normal Li-ion batteries. Thus, these batteries are rated at higher voltage i.e 3.8v etc instead of nominal 3.6-3.7v. Which shows that the 3.8v have more capacity and better internals compared to others. Usually, cheaper POWERBANKS from brands like INTEX etc won't have these costlier batteries. Some good brand batteries are made by PANASONIC, SANYO, SAMSUNG & SONY.

The reason of this is the terminal voltage possessed by them . As some battery 4.2 volt is printed but the output current is approx 4.2 to 4.5 so depending on their electrolyte their output voltage is printed on battery. If this reason is wrong so please tell me the right one in your next video.

The reason of this is the terminal voltage possessed by them .
As some battery 4.2 volt is printed but the output current is approx 4.2 to 4.5 so depending on their electrolyte their output voltage is printed on battery.
