Appreciate the video Steve!, just bought a toyota LC300 a few weeks back. The parking noise is silent in the cabin but boy did it come as a surprise when i had the window down... dealer wants to check it out but i guess this is it. Guess I'll still pay em a visit.
I had 22 Corolla that it froze after being parked in a big snow storm. Almost had to have the car towed but finally got it to release. I disable the auto mode after that. Disabled it on my 24 Tacoma as well
Steve, I have a new Rav4 prime. We travel a lot leaving town for months on end. My wife’s hybrid a Lincoln mkz and my Honda crv that I traded in for the rav4 prime we would disconnect the starting batteries when we leave them parked for long periods. I noticed the RAV4 prime doesn’t have a battery under the hood. I read that it was not good to leave the car plugged in for long periods. I am worried about discharging the 12 volt battery. My question is what would the proper way to put the car into storage mode as not to damage any of the battery systems. We have been gone for as long as 5 months with no one driving the car.
I just figured this out when a friend arrived with a rental. She had the door open when she put it in gear and then shut the door. The car wouldn't move. I could tell the rear brake was "on" . I had her put it in park and then back in gear and then it moved so I'm pretty sure the door ajar system is in the loop.
Hey Steve, Plz confirm the below. I have searched all over the internet and unable to it. It is regarding a Venza 2024 XLE canada. The memory seat function sets steering wheel and outside mirrors as well?
@@girishrocks2007 I don't have an XLE to check but I did just check a Limited. On the US spec Limited, the memory seat also remembers the steering wheel position but not the mirrors.
Hi Steve. What can you tell us? About the problems with the 2024 Tacoma transmission that are being seen on the internet, I am worried, I bought my Tacoma in April 2024, I don't know what to expect
There were some early production Tacomas that had transmission issues. I don't know when Toyota changed things but we have not seen this in the last several months. It is clearly corrected and Toyota covers the transmission for 60K miles and the ones that failed did so VERY early on . If it hasn't failed on you yet, you're safe.
I wonder is this is the reason there is a ton of grease on the wheels. It’s pretty annoying, I noticed this the first week so got my Rav4. I thought it was oil but was told it was grease at the dealer and also said it was normal.
362 / 5 000 Hello, I like your videos and advice, I have had a Corolla Cross hybrid for 5 months, I wonder why the hold assist is not activated by default, having had other brands of cars and it was activated by default, because I have to activate it every time I start it and sometimes I forget it, thank you for your information, I live in Europe (Belgium)
Thank you my Corolla makes this sound. Gives me peace of mind

Thanks Steve - thank you very informative. You answered a question I didn’t know I had yet.
Thank you for making this! I've been wondering about this for a long time

I just bought a new Corolla and that noise alarmed me until the dealer told me what was going on.
Why my toyota rav4 2024 doesn't sound any more like that? I have been driving it for 6 months already
