My thoughts exactly, I haven't seen Simone doing an Arabian and this one is preceded by a backhandspring..last Arabian I saw was Gabby Douglas at 2012 Olympics.
@@erinm9445i agree too. In the same time i think it’s a good strategy to let the gymnasts get used to this strict scoring as a ‘preparation’ for the international scoring, especially right before Paris 2024
China is already using the GYMNOVA equipment which is the brand selected for the Paris Olympic Games so their athletes are totally comfortable with the equipment months before the games. Will the US use this brand for their national championships and trials?
There is qui and Zhou and we have Simone snd Suni who does an impressive mount like qui and also a side serial to two back layouts..i dont know which 2 or 3 girls have technically the hardest routines at the current monent as i dont know if some will include further elements at the actual Games..
Now the beam competitions sacrifice the elegance and fluency for dificult grades and high score skills. Nothing compares with the greatest Catalina Ponor, Shawn Jhonson, Nastia Lukin, Deng Linlin or Victoria Komova.
Finally a national comp judging feeling correct! Wonderful routine, she’s a lock for the Olympic podium with maybe Simone and Suni if she makes the team.. So many good options tho, could be almost anyone on Event final day if the best routines don’t hit 100%
14,000 é para os padrões da Flávia com uma nota D muito menor. Olha a dificuldade dessa série, com uma execução muito boa. Para tirar um 14,000 como vc sugeriu ela teria que ter muitos desequilíbrios ou até mesmo uma queda.
@@Jonnypear486 Yeah, I suppose if Qiyuan had debuted this routine last year, Simone could've tried training some more difficult skills / combos like Side Aerial + LOSO + LOSO or BHS + BHS + Layout, but it's too late for that now.
Zhou and Qiu are gonna do everything to get that beam gold 🏅
YESSSS FINALLY AN ARABIAN….some exercises on balance beam nowdays are so dull

She reminds me of Yao Jinnan 2011. Very strong yet flexible. And telented and very reliable.
She is so cute, she will rock in Paris 🌟 minute 1:05 she matches the music
BHS + Arabian is so ballsy and she completely goes for it
Agree none else ever has done that like Shawn, Gaby and Karli have done a single one but not with a connection
Don't forget she has a 7.2 UB. It has been a while since the legendary Cheng Fei that caught the world's attention
I don’t think she has hit 7.2 in competition yet

She’s got AA medal potential if she hits in Paris
Beautiful double pike❤ love that it was not whipped
👏👏👏👏👏👏 Qiu Qiyuan 🇨🇳🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Flawless 🤩
15,050 (7D - 8.050 E)
That E score seems low actually. This routine was very clean, and seemed to work well with artistry requirements.

She has some bigger deductions: the deep squat hip below knees after the Arabian, the switch half no reach split… so this is correct judging
OMG!!!! Incredible 😮

I've rewatched that arabian combo like ten times already! Brilliant!
Agree no other Gymnast has done that including Simone.
awesome 😍
What a routine!
WOW !!
My biggest concern is that if they will peak before the actual Olympic games

She’s not consistent on beam, Zhou Yaqin is more of a lock than she is. But wow her potential is unbelievable

Um campeonato interno talvez não seja um bom parâmetro... Porém que é impressionante a prova isso é
eles foram ate contidos demais na nota de execução dela. Passa dos 15 tranquilo

This is a weird take after watching this beautiful routine?
She got her own strength. Floor and volt.
