Nice review, I completely agree with all your comments about the bike. I have had mine for a month and loving it. The bike is great for anyone coming back into biking. Good value for money. The bike does come with a pillion pad, much softer on the rear!
I'm late to the party but passed my DAS on Tuesday and considering one of these as a first bike along with an MT07 and possibly a kawasaki z650 as that's what I learnt on. Thanks for the great video!
@@spicy110 Thank you so much! I know nothing about bikes except for how to pass a mod 1 and mod 2 on them LOL... Would you recommend the GSR750 as a first bike?
Picking mine up on friday. Haven't ridden for 15 years since a very serious accident has put me in a wheelchair, so I'm actually quite nervous, but at almost 62 I think it's time I gave it a go again. Would have done it years ago, but wife and kids banned me lol
@@notionarray I did. Unfortunately I couldn't ride it for more than a mile or so due to arthritis in my right hand. It left me in agony. So I changed it for a VN800. thinking that holding the bars at a different angle might help. And it did!! So now I'm cruising about. First cruiser I have ever had, just regret not buying the Triumph America I saw.
I have one with a blue tank. Once had a visitor for my mom that asked me what bike I had so I told her. She had the same one, same color. Only difference was that hers had a longer fender and different exhaust. It's crazy, because you abrely ever see GSRs.
I was excited for the release of this bike and I got to get on one at a bike show but couldn't test ride it. It just felt too small and like you said it looked like you could pick it up, put it under your arm and do the rest of your grocery shopping. Good to know it fits you as I'm an inch or so shorter than you. Still it's no SM... and that's on the bucket list
This time last year, you were still on Jesse & still sorting shit out from the crash and now you're on such a great super moto and able to do these awesome reviews! Good on you Spicy! :)
:-D thanks! Yep it's been a busy year and alot of work but it just goes to show hard work pays off in the end! Next I just need that new job and I'm set!
Nice video, I'm a beginner motorcyclist, am small 166cm so which bike of this equation is right for me? I drive daily to work in the city and also the highway and sometimes during a weekend round of recreational so, which one? Suzuki SV650 or GSR 750
Nice Video! But now you got the evidence, backache is the beginning of getting old. This bike looks really compact. I was surprised you felt really comfy on the bike. I guess for somebody who got only the weight for 6 foot 4 (me), it would fit too.
hey, not yet, still looking around for specs, after market stuff and insurance. here in brazil, in big cities, my case sao paulo, you don´t get test rides because of bike robbery. so you only have on shot at it, can´t miss it! so insurance is a heavy component on you decision making.
Nice detailed review mate! It is a very nice looking bike! My video with the most views is my review of the 2013 GSR750. Even though it is a crap review. (my first) I really liked it but the throttle felt weird, almost loose, kind of cheap and nasty. I hope they've fixed that. Shame about the bum ramming though!
Nah I haven't! Awesome Spicy :) I'm doing my A2 soon. I'm keeping my little Honda Rebel 125 though. Love it to bits. Hoping to the get a Suzuki Bansit 650s ABS :>
by the way I have watched this several more times just to hear his reaction to the deer and the bum hitting the pointy part of the seat, sorry but pretty funny
spicy that just down the road from my girlfriends place and go up there almost every weekends on my 125. would love to go for a ride with you some time mate p.s love the vids man keep up the good work. :)
im looking at this for my first "big" bike, its a beautiful machine, cant wait to be on the road
absolutley love the sound of that bike

I think the bike looks really nice but anything with black or dark colors I love

I am hopefully buying a Suzuki GSR-750 tomorrow. Thanks for this video!

I had the GSR600 and it was a fantastic bike, i had it for years and years and only ever saw one other
I had that bike too
as a cruiser rider for 30 years, this year unknown i decided to love these naked bikes.
its the torque,something cruisers lacked.
I've got one as well. It's my first bike actually.
I was at that shop yesterday, that was the first bike buy the front door. I fell in love at that second haha.
Hey spicy just finished my cbt today and am going to pick up my bike tomorrow all thanks to you never would of got a bike if not for your videos
Sweet! Glad I helped with that! Enjoy :-)
thanks for the review picking one up Monday
off to Loomeys.... I was there on Wednesday last week for the first time. Same again this week of the weather is good enough.

+spicy110 Yup! :D
Cool that you got to review another bike. Personally looking to buy a GSR but they sont selll them here in California for some odd reason.
Lots lots more reviews to come! At least 3 lined up atm
i think clear indicator lenses would be better. those ones suck
Really appreciate the little like and subscribe reminder. I do often forget otherwise.
That's what people said and now I don't have to keep saying it win win
welcome to the GSR750 love - lol - plenty of afermarket parts available too.
Yer I bet! Sweet bike
You might wana try a 690duke may struggle to fit on it but hell of a bike
Every bike review should include a short section of knuckle knocking on tank and panels...and it's nice to see you obliging for us. :)
+Grumpy old sod on a bike. and a swift kick on the back tyre
Not to mention a sharp intake of breath though clenched teeth, uttering, "Who put this together for you mate?!"
I just googled haslemere motorcycles and realised you guys are only about 20 miles from me in Horsham!
They are yes, I am not them. Great people, pop in and say hi some time they are very friendly.
ps. I own a GSR750, I love them
Potential GSR750 owner soon... Do you still have it, and does it still hold up? How tall are you, is it cramped?
Good first bike?
How tall are you? I'm considering it but after he said that the bike looks tiny I'm not sure. I'm 6,1 tall
@@dale-fi1fi lol thats a shit load of power for a first bike? Maybe try a 300cc instead. This is ok as a second or third bike.
@@StateOfMind63 hell with that got myself a mt07 lol

Best bet get to a dealer and have a sit on them, it's not just the seat height that comes in to it. The SV to my memory is shorter however. 🙂
@@spicy110 thanks for your comment, I'm going to test both, but GSR is nice to drive? easy and comfortable and comfortable?
Excellent review spicy, really enjoyed it!
My son bought one a year ago... first thing to was fit a tail tidy.... the same as that bike has, the original rear guard is moosive..!
i kind of want to either get the us version of this bike or a street triple. i love the street triple, but it is quite a bit more spendy here
Hi Spicy, what do you think of the Suzuki SV650S 2009+? and would you consider a test ride?
Excellent video ! Congratulations
I'm still trying to figure why they made both the GSR-750 and the GSX-S 750....
One for us and one for eu
+fish and banana Oh, it's same bike, just different names in different regions?
+MrSlowestD16 Correct.
Good review, think I'll add this to my list of bikes to test. Looks like a trip to Haslemere is in order :)
Just I've got it. Good .
I'm amazed how heavy that bike is, especially considering how low the power is for a 750cc engine.
It weighs the same as a FZ8
Not an active account how light would you have it be? Its 30kg heavier than the first gsxr and that was way too light.
Nice Video!
But now you got the evidence, backache is the beginning of getting old. This bike looks really compact. I was surprised you felt really comfy on the bike. I guess for somebody who got only the weight for 6 foot 4 (me), it would fit too.
I believe you just sang 'I need bacon' to the the tune of Morcombe & Wise's 'Bring me sunshine'. Bravo, Sir! Bravo! :')
Well spotted!
Two of my fave pass times. Quality acts both!

I do plan to talk to them!
i sellig my 2006 speed triple and want to get either gsr 750 or mt 09... but still have not decided yet
