Last year I had to hunt for a garment bag for a me-made dress for a wedding and I ended up buying something plastic-y from Ikea that served its purpose, but was nowhere near as high-quality and beautiful as what can be made with fabric and details of your own choosing. Can't wait to make one.

Good pattern! I had a carrier in uniform and travel. I made a garment bag from Ripstop about 20 years ago. Not nearly as good as yours!!
