Rush is the best. What a beautiful piece of music.
Here's a tidbit for you....Ben Mink collaborated a ton with KD Lang and also did Geddys solo album....another talented Canadian ❤🇨🇦

To live their fantasies
But most of us just dream about
The things we'd like to be"
Losing It - Rush
Rest in Peace Professor
Very missed
HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS? BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE BY EVERYONE WOW LOVE THE VIOLINIST! JUST ADD MORE BEAUTIFUL LAYERS!! I LOVE RUSH, ALL THESE DIFFERENT COLORS THROUGH OUT!! INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE 🔥 🔥🔥🔥 AWESOME REACTION RORY 💙 THANK YOU TODD FOR THIS AMAZING REQUEST!! BEN MINK IS AWESOME!! 😊🩷🤘✌️
The R40 tour was short. It was only 35 dates. And they played Losing It on 5 of those! It was only played live 5 times. And this was one.
Yeah I saw it in New York, as a Dutch. Feel privileged!
Stop rubbing it in (see my message above)!
😢😅😢
Ben was also a key player and was involved in developing the material on Geddy's solo album My Favorite Headache, which is excellent by the way. Check it out.
you love Rush Rory and we love you for loving Rush, you really get it.
GREAT!
One of my Top 10 RUSH songs - what a rare treat for the audience that night
Rush was an absolute powerhouse group. No other group sounded like them and no other group would have been able to sound like them! Their musicianship and music arrangements put them in the highest echelons of rock music. Thanks Rory for this video as well as your appreciation of this incredible group.
thank you TODD. and Rory.
I was there. I'm sure I got pretty emotional lol. Awesome.
you play guitar, ???, l.o.l.😉
I effin love this song!
I'm so glad that this was indeed the farewell tour. It was time. Neil was in excruciating pain, Alex was having trouble with his arthritis, and Ged had been struggling with his voice for years. Yet they still put on a killer performance night after night. I saw the 3rd to last show in Phoenix and will forever regret that I didn't spend a fortune to sit up front at the final show at the Forum in LA. RIP Neil!
Saw them in Denver on their final tour and also wish I would have ponied up to see them at the Forum. I didn't know it would truly be their swan song...
I love your smiling chuckling reaction to Rush songs , been a fan since 80s as a Canadian boy , saw them 6 times , last 2 with my sons , made the oldest skip school with my credit card for a draw , ended up the entire family of 4 front row in front of Geddy
Great reaction, Rory! I had to hurry and watch!! Usually anything with Ben Mink gets blocked!! I can’t imagine how Jonathan Dinklage felt when he played this this on this tour! He was in the “orchestra “ that toured Clockwork Angels! Be well and God bless… from Texas!
This is one of my favorite Rush deep tracks, pay attention to the lyrics they're just as good as the music. 😊
The versatility of Rush is unmatched. They REALLY can play ANYTHING and while it still sounds like Rush, it could be done by anyone(that can play anyway)and be A MASSIVE HIT SONG.
all the songs on SIGNALS are great,,,🤘🤘🤘
How about New World Man?
And to think that I gave my tickets to this very show (in Toronto in in 2015) away because I had a hearing to attend in Singapore!
I stupidly assumed there'd be another tour. Otherwise, I would have made damm sure I was in LA for the finale.
😢
AWESOME MUSIC !! 🎻 thanks Rory 😊🎶
Beautifully performed. I wondered how Geddy's voice would hold up for this one. It was great to see Ben on stage with the Band. Too bad it only happened so infrequently.
Just Gorgeous!!!❤❤❤
The live performances of this song are fine, and I’m glad they captured it for prosperity. Neil’s playing on the instrumental portion on the live version is VERY toned down and simplified, as I’m sure they didn’t have adequate rehearsal time to perform it at full speed. Do yourself a favor and check out the studio version or lyric video on your own to experience the song that had been a fan favorite we were clamoring to hear live for so long.
Four washing machines baby😎😎😎😎
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction to an absolutely beautiful song. Thanks for reacting to this and Todd thank you very much for this request and all of your other Rush requests. I am familar with the studio version of this song and always loved it but I had never seen this performance before and it was a real treat to see them play it live. Thanks again
Can you react 2112 in its entirely?
“Turn The Page” from the Hold Your Fire album (1987) is a real banger - I would really appreciate your reaction to the studio recording!
Speaking of being on stage with Rush, check out the Taylor Hawking Tribute where Geddy and Alex play with David Grohl and Omar Hakim. Imagine trying to fill Neil's shoes playing with Alex and Geddy in a tribute the Taylor. They did an admiral enough job...
I think the live version with Jonathan Dinklage is even better
Great great song. A shame they didn't play it on the show I was at.
🏆🏆🏆🏆
I never really cared for this song, although this is the first time I've seen it live. Excellent!🐵
Ben was a big part of Geddy's solo album as well. You should check that out sometime (I don't think you have?). Some great songs.
A canadian band you may have missed is SAGA Rory....They have a few good hits
This is one of few live songs that may get blocked due to Ben Mink. Rush doesn't have exclusive rights to this performance...hope it doesn't as it's just so special that Ben was there to play.
