Why did you use CarPro eraser after you polished with CarPro essence since essence is a primer for cquartz?
@@jelleengelbertink7978 I always do a light wipe down after I've polished the car with Essence, just to get rid of any remaining residu or fingerprints for example. I usually just spray it it on the towel and wipe down a panel or two. It might not be necessary, but it also doesn't do any harm.
@@VermijlCarDetail okay thanks! Directly after you applied essence or do you wait for let’s say an hour?
@@jelleengelbertink7978 If you let Essence cure for 24 hours, no IPA wipe is needed. If you want to put the ceramic coating on before that curing time, an IPA is needed.

Really good to see someone treats his car like this... I like my car, but probably not as much as you because the maximum for me is to self service wash my car 2-3 times a month and it takes about 10 minutes for each sesson, depends on how dirty it is.

I'm thinking about starting my own deep clean carwash. I live in a small country and there's not a single person here who does a deep clean service that comes to your house. I'd just rent a simple car that can fit all of my products and I would drive around asking people if they'd need a wash. I wouldnt make a website until later on.
Any way I've got this brand new BMW since 4 weeks ago and it woke up a passion in me. I've been watching videos and cleaning cars for the past 8 weeks now and Im loving it. It's like a calming therapy session not gonna lie lol

Top work, would love to see an older car getting a full detail. I know these newer cars require work even from the showroom but the real challenge is detailing an older car. Cool vids though.

The only thing I was wondering about is why you used eraser before polishing with essence?
My guess is that's it's an ultra light, gloss enhancing polish but I've never seen anybody do that before

Hi Vermijl! Why do you sometimes use GSF shampoo and sometimes Reset? Are there different particularities?
Hi Nathan! Both products are pH neutral shampoos, so they are pretty much the same thing. I just like to switch between the 3 brands I like the most, which are Koch Chemie, CARPRO and P&S.

No before and after in the end... No shots of the car outdoors with natural sun. Otherwise, I thank you because I had a body shop repair a small spot in the rear wheel well and they sprayed primer, sealer and all sorts of muck all over the car/ (Never used a tarp to cover what they weren't working on. SO: Now I have this car covered in all this stuff and I'm about to go crazy with restoring the paint. Perhaps I should just sand blast the whole thing and primer it... sand then paint ?? It was a blast watching this car get babied. You do a very nice job. Would have loved to see before and after and natural light and reflections.
