The original from Chris back in 89 ( which I fell in love with back then) Then there's Diana Ankudinova I love how she took & made a big production without letting it overwhelm her & she turned it into a great Pop song in a modern way with a little Russian folk song style to it. If I remember right, Diana got 2 weeks to prepare the song for the competition. I believe Diana is a either a contralto profondo or a low contralto. Than there's Angelina Jordan's arrangement (WOW ) & composition of it, "Wicked Games" by Chris Isaak th-cam.com/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/w-d-xo.html she went the exact opposite direction completely stripped it down & just her on her little keyboard in her room playing 3-4 cords & just telling a story using her voice just amazing. At age 11-12. When Angie was asked about this song, she said “one day she just wanted to go into her room & mess around with it, & as they say, The rest is history. I believe Angelina is a low contralto or a dramatic contralto. She can get comfortably low as A2-B2

About your question - this is a show for talented orphans and everything that was done there is absolutely free for participants, (unlike the Voice show). So, one of the best specialists in vocal, dramaturgy, performing arts n ect. worked with the participants there. Also, such a great design of the stage, lights, and other effects, no participant could afford if it was paid.
I very much like the fact that she's choose to make it totally her own. I love both Chris Issak's version, as well as her's. Both equally. They are entirely different from each other. There are both very beautiful in their own unique ways. I'm very impressed.

I was waiting until she matured more to see if she would be able to add art to that voice and become extraordinary. Art is ineffable, some simply don't have it, and I wasn't convinced before. Now I am. Now I see that taking form. Do I know what I"m talking about? Absolutely not. I'm just a listener... but I agree with you, I think now I can see that she's got the pieces, and I'm excited to see how she'll develop. There is something that goes on with her voice... is it her use of overtones?... that until now seemed overdone. Как же Вы всё точно подмечаете-сразу видно проффесионала и очень душевного человека! Да, на шоу ,,Ты супер" была великолепная команда! Каждый номер-просто шедевр ( не только Дианин)! У Дианы огромная потеря-умерла её учитель по вокалу Ольга Донская. Это был невероятный педагог, который очень много дал Диане. Очень жаль. Как эта девочка всё это пережила-одному Богу известно. в конце песни. Я думаю об этом всех судей просили режисеры, которые записывали выступления участников и Игорь Крутой об этом не забывал.
Кроме того звук нажатой кнопки и хлопки зрителей может помешать самому участнику и сбить его. Но последнее не касается Дианы.
Почему? В одном интервью её спросили: Как она реагирует на то что судьи её выбирают в процессе её выступления?
Она ответила: Я ничего не вижу и не слышу из вне когда пою, или по крайней мере не помню об этом после выступления.
Так что это не имеет значения для меня.
В ходе конкурса "Ты супер" с Дианой много работал музыкант Степин, он же оранжировщик и композитор. Он поделился о своих впечатлениях от работы с Дианой:
- Вот на тренировках поёт девушка с красивым уникальным голосом, поёт правильно с хорошей техникой. Прогнали песню 2-3 раза всё хорошо.
А после этого Диана говорит, я пела без эмоций, может стоит спеть её с эмоциями? Конечно отвечаю я (Степин). Она начинает петь и меня вжимает в сиденье стула и передо мной уже не девушка, а Большой художник, который полностью захватывает твоё внимание.
