When it comes to skin products I think you should first say your skin type and then give advice, because maybe it just doesnt suit your skin type which means others may like it
The CT beautiful skin foundation works amazing on me. Morgan does have more oily skin so makes sense it wouldn’t work for her. The Charlotte Tilbury look is very glowy and dewy, so most of her skin products work well for dry skin.
The fenty concealer sits PERFECT on my skin. I wear it all day on my under eyes and it never creases, it’s beautiful. I set it lightly with the NARS powder, and it’s magic.
Everybody online ive seen use those match sticks have to put it on the back of their hand first (to warm it up) and use a brush to apply to the face. I’m like mmmkay what’s the point of it being in stick form lol
The stick form is travel safe. You don’t have to put it in the liquids bag. That was my purpose of buying plus I use less of it than the liquid versions.
I put the matchstick straight on my face and use a beauty blender to blend it out instead of a brush. And it’s always worked like a dream, can’t say I agree with the video’s review at all

I absolutely ❤💜💙 the Fenty Matchstixs. They're the best on my confused oily+dry combination skin. It's easily provides the best contour, blend and longevity for me.
I also had combo dry acne prone skin and it ended up being dehydration from not drinking enough water. It doesn't change the acne part really lol but I'm not dry anymore
I’ve only ever tried the blush and highlight Fenty Match sticks and I always put the product on the back of my hand and applied with a brush. That’s the way I always saw Priscilla Ono use them so I’ve never done it differently. To me, they’re amazing.
Regarding the match stix They're tough to blend out when you just apply them on your face. What I do is apply it to the back of my hand for a minute, let it heat up with my body head, and then apply with a brush. That's extra work that should not be necessary, but it works for me. I put it on the back of my hand when I start priming/applying foundation and then when I get to contouring, it's ready
I am absolutely in love with The Bella Sophia eye palette by CT! I bought it and fell in love with it instantly! But that will be the only palette I would buy from her. I want to also add that I have had it for a year now and still love it!
i like both the fenty products ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ for the matchstix i only have the contour but i only apply a little at a time and blend quickly before it sets then do the other side. for the concealer i blot to absorb oil under eyes first like wayne gross recommends to avoid creasing.

not a single fenty skin item has worked for my dry skin. not the og foundation, not the hydrating one, not even the concealer! so I get what you say that its crease city. i alsoo love charlotte tilbury but i’d have to disagree with the one about the eyeshadow quad hehe
Fenty is based on Rihanna which is oily skin in the wet Bahamas where it is humid af. If you are dry, probably a lot of the products are not meant for you, unfortunately.

The cream stick from fenty are formulated so even if you loose the cap it still works . And they are not supposed to be applied directly on the face, you need to warm them up in the back of your hand and take the product from there . Love your videos but it is always important to do a little research on the product itself .hope i could help the people who bought the product but didn’t know how to use it 😊
Ty for pointing these out. BUT....remember that just because certain products don't work for you and your skin type/texture doesn't mean everyone will have the same problem with the product. Now, pointing out the products that are just a rip off due to price is obviously a universal complaint. I believe that so many brands overprice many products just because they can. Check price compared to the amount of product you get. I bet most of the time there's a great dupe for so much cheaper.
i’ve tried so many times but i hate the fenty pro filtr foundation. it’s so drying on my skin, and it is impossible to blend. it settles into my smile lines and comes off my t zone. idk it’s just not for me!!!

But I will say that for the Fenty Matchstick, maybe you got one with a botched formula? I've got one that I use as a highlighter and my mum has one she uses for contour and we've both never had any problems with them. It's a shame you don't rate it though, cuz it's honestly one of my fave pieces of makeup :/
I really hate visiting Sephora in person. I never know what to look at or where to go or what the sales are or what I'm being scammed into buying for commission. I am convinced there's no foundation that is the color of my skin, none. I barely wear makeup anymore because it's just so intense
I disagree with the fenty here I love them both yes the match stick isn’t as creamy as other ones I recommend applying it under foundation it’s not designed for someone new to makeup and the for the concealer I didn’t have any creases on my under eyes but I’m 19 so I don’t really have fine lines or dark circles yet
if you have a contour/bronzer that is hard to blend out but don’t want to waste the product try using a brush to pick up the product off the stick instead of applying directly to your face! no harsh lines and so much more control
I love Fenty and they have the best shades for bronzer as far as the undertones (actual cool tones for contour and bronzers are mustardy neutral not orange or red) but I agree on the formula. I have a lot of cream products so maybe that’s why? They just don’t blend as flawlessly and can get patchy
Gosh, completely agree on the match sticks highlighter. Feels like dragging a crayon across my skin and you can barely see it even before blending. My $4 wet n wild is 10x better. Ciate dewy stock is the holy grail. Good on lips too.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that about the matchsticks (IDK how it's spelled). I went to Sephora to do a recommendation for first time contour and the makeup artist was so excited about it and hyped how smooth and creamy it was, then proceeded to look like a big brown blob was on my face which took off my foundation in that area. I felt really really really bad for her.

The most overpriced eyeshadow brand by far I know is definitely Chanel quad, there's only 2g, 2g! Me and my fds found the fenty match stick in amber is fabulous contour shade

Everyone’s skin is different. Sephora gives free samples so instead of listening to influencers on whether a product is good or not, go try it for free and decide for yourself. Also, I’m always amazed at how many people still don’t know you can walk into a Sephora and get a free sample size of anything you can scoop or pour to take home and try.
I feel ATTACKED 😆 Fenty amber contour stick is my favorite, I have dry skin I swipe it on blend blend blend and poof I have cheek bones. And while Charlottes eyeshadows are ridiculous in therms of cost per shadow the formula is very beautiful. Just depends if you have the money to spend on a luxury experience.
No fR bc I bought fenty bc it was marketed as no crease. Creased the moment I brought it home. I can work with it full for full glam it’s not it and it looks nice but tbh it oxidizes on the skin pretty fast and leaves a weird look it’s hard to describe it’s also not that good of coverage

I know fenty products dry out WAY quicker than most brands when blending so applying a little at a time will actually help.
Agree 100% especially the Fenty. It’s always hit and miss with their items and it’s mostly a miss. Except the gloss that is the bomb!

I like the Fenty contour stick. I just use a damp sponge and it’s perfect for me. Haven’t tried the concealer though.
