Uske baad or 10 ft column dena hoga room k liye. To plinth beam (foundation) kaha dena he? Ya fir plinth beam nahi chahiye, Slab casting se ho jayega? Please bataiyega 🙏
This explanation is not applicable in site as there is a variation of short column and long column effect. Extra beam or stepped footing for stability should be introduced.

i got confused with the sketch (starting at 3:30)..... is the road horizontal or vertical, the sketch of the road in reference to the slope /plot seems like they are in 2 different planes.

This method is wrong. In a slope, if the foundation depth as per design is 1.5M, then the lowest point foundation should be 1.5M and at the highest point the depth will be more since the ground has to be at the same level as the lowest point. If excavation is done as per the above video then there will be uneven distribution of load and if the slope is too much, the structure may fail.

Dear Sir, thanks a lot , I am staying in Kerala , hilly area, i have do house extension as a cellar basement floor with 5 rooms for some accommodation purposes , need your advice, below the house , there is a slope area , around 35 ft , Below the slope there is a small katcha road passing through. When i consulted the engineer , he said , i need to do a retention wall beginning of slope area , and a retention wall end of slope area where katcha road starts, when i calculated the area of retention wall , it comes to 60 feet with height of around 15ft, which will have huge cost , so wanted to understand if we really need retention wall or we can go by above method
