It looks as if you have a dragon topiary started. His head is directly over the left chair in the yellow bush at the very end of the video. The branches on top look like they could be trimmed to make his back. Maybe it's just my weird way of seeing things. Your garden is very beautiful and so peaceful! Thanks for sharing it.

Linda! Thanks you so much for this calm, serene Saturday morning tour! Especially after spending 9 hours in my own garden today. Such inspiration after a good hot shower and belly filling supper! I would also like to mention the fact that you are praising Nandinas. I have been thinking of tearing all of mine out, but you are right, they do offer a four season interest. And, oh yes! Geraniums, they were our starter plants back in the eighties! Still love to use them.

I love that you are using things like scented geraniums and nepeta in baskets. I love all the latest PW supertunias, superbells, etc. but I love when things that are a little outside the norm are used, too! So often, garden centers have non-name brand plants so it is nice to see them used in containers and landscapes, too!

Hello Linda. I too love geraniums and they are a sentimental memory of my late mum. I had a tomato red geranium in a pot from a cutting in my mum’s garden and it was about 30 years old. This past summer I had to discard it as I live in Sydney, Australia and we experienced bushfires for about four months. The heat, toxins and ash caused havoc in our gardens. However, yesterday I visited my sister and I got a cutting of a blood red colour geranium and I’m looking forward to tending to that. I also love the salutation you used at the end of this video “from my garden to yours.” Perhaps that could be your regular send off at the end of each of your beautiful videos - provides continuity, makes it personal and allows us to incorporate some inspiration in our own slice of paradise. Thanks for the motivation.

I've been in the process of making my most challenging backyard into a little Eden Garden, you and linen & velvet are my inspiration, what I'm missing is y'all's climate...I live outside San Antonio, but I'm learning what works and what doesn't. Springs can be quite beautiful here with certain bulbs and tubers, but after that it's just HOT, and you have to wait until November to get some color again, though the bougainvillea and crepe myrtles fo add that summer color ❤️...I did plant boxwood and lavender this spring, so I guess you can see how you inspired me. Thank you, always love watching you 😊

Second year gardener here and your garden is my ultimate goal! I'm starting from 1/2 acre mostly grass lawn in the northeast. One question I have is what can I do about the flying pests that deter me and my kids from wanting to sit and enjoy our backyard? We do have woods in our backyard but we also have a Dynatrap that covers 1 acre but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Any advice besides using chemicals to spray? And yes we do use bug spray on ourselves. Thanks!
