Linda, loved having my morning coffee watching you do what you do best. Was feeling a little down as my 79 year old bones didn’t want to get moving, then I heard your voice and saw the green plants and it made my morning. I so enjoy your shows wish they were an hour long. Hugs from Northern California.

Buying the big pot and dividing it up is genius!!! We have a local nursery that has gorgeous plants, but I often need several and can only afford 1. I use to just leave and wish, 2 weeks ago I decided to get 1 pot and wait on getting the others, when I noticed that the pot actually had 3 plants! Yes, I will have to wait a little for them to be big, but I now can have 3 plants of the same kind growing. The plants from local nurseries are often much better quality and now I have a trick to save money while getting the better plants! (Even this nursery's clearance plants perk up and are amazing, but those clearance sell out so fast.)

Gorgeous! Lovely neighborhood homes in the background, BTW. This has been a windy spring here in FL too. I've been trying to harden off flower seedlings for 2 months, but the daily high winds & heat in the high 80's to low 90's just wilts them & dries out the leaves. So, I've given up for now & will wait for the high winds to go away. Seems like the winter winds came late this year. Weird.

I love your videos and I hang on every word! I’m a little sad that you sped up the process of planting the begonias 😢 As a newbie gardener I would have loved to know where/how you tucked them in around the Caladium bulbs. I always get hung up on the “spacing” requirements in the planting directions and get so confused about how much I can actually plant.

Don’t worry about the spacing. I don’t. ;). Plant...see if it gives you the effect you want, and adjust accordingly in this year or the next. Plants are far more forgiving than we think. And if it isn’t successful, the lesson learned is! Just enjoy dear!
