You are a bit misinformed. It is the Para 3 lw, not Paramilitary. It is Bi-Directional texturing on the handle. It is not a backlock, but compression lock. Quite a difference.
As you say G10 like plastic, but resin, so I would say superior. G10 can clearly be more durable, and with proper texturing more grippy when wet. I do think Spyderco does a fantastic job on these scales for still being economical.
Just got this PM3 LW in the other day. It's my first knife ever and I'm loving it! Idk what to get next. Thinking Manix 2 or maybe something from Benchmade
I must have watched about 30 reviews on this knife now and this is by far one of the best.
Thanks!!!
Seriously? From the guy who calls powder metallurgy steel 'powder coated'? That's your best review? We must be using different TH-cams.

I agree, these scales have held up really well, and I think it’s one of the reasons why the knife is so light.
I like the “American Beauty” thumbnail.
👏👏👏
I was wondering when people would make that comment.😂
Great review of a great knife!
Thanks bro!
THE BEST KNIFE THE SPYDERCO ICON....PARA 3

Benchmade makes some good knives.
@@knifeguyrick2912 thinking about getting the Super Freek M4
Those squiggly marks on the blade - those are the makers' marks for Sal and Eric Glesser, who are father and son. Sal is the founder of Spyderco.
But I’m guessing those marks are still a symbol not initials. Kind of like the artist formally known as prince.
@@knifeguyrick2912
The marks are a stylized E for Eric and S A L for Sal, not symbols.
@@knifeguyrick2912 Signature of designers work, also known sometimes as a monogram.
Bent on getting the light weight or the regular version
I really like the lightweight.
