I know exactly what you mean by 'favorite time of day' :') I share the same one with you. The time after the sun has just set and the sky takes on this beautiful color of blue is just magical. It sorta washes away all the worries and stress of the day and allows you to take a deep breath and just be in the moment.
I watch while I'm working; I'm a professional artist, and it's nice to have art going around me. Your painting videos are so calm and lovely, seeing a project from start to finish is extremely rewarding.

I always find these videos so healing. Had a headache of note. Took a tablet, put you on, and was lulled to a light sleep with your voice... Awake now and my headache is gone and I feel better. Otherwise yes I craft while I listen to you. Need to use wireless earphones other I can't hear you over the sewing machine
I always think of these colours as “ice cream colours” and I’m not sure why. They always make me happy though. And I like them for Christmas designs too!
Fellow fall/winter lover here! I am OBSESSED with cool weather and the holidays and everyone thinks I'm crazy. Don't get me wrong, spring and summer have their perks, but honestly I am SO much happier when I can be snuggly inside with my holiday pajamas and lots of warm Christmas lights. This is so lovely, thank you ALB!

I don't know why but the style of the line art and the design of the house reminds me of the one in 101 Dalmatians (although in ALB's case, maybe it would be 101 cats?). So cute!
Such a lovely painting! I love gouache. It's one of my favorite mediums of all time. For keeping it wet, I use a shallow clear plastic container with a lid and the bottom lined with a wet kitchen towel and a piece of parchment paper on top, the paint stays wet for over a week this way. It's great when taking a longer break between painting sessions. Btw, I put this video on while sewing gift bags for my Christmas presents :) I do love crafting/painting ASMR while I'm doing creative stuff myself.

I love this painting so much! I love that it has that winter holiday aesthetic without being super overtly Christmassy, if that makes sense? Like it's very festive but in a way that can be nondenominational. Your story about getting your head stuck in the railings reminded me of getting my leg stuck in the railing of the top bunk of my bunkbed as a kid 😂 I also took a little kitty cuddle break with my boy while Dawn made her cameo, which was really nice 😊😸

I have watched in a couple of intervals, but during the most recent one, I was working on art for my D&D character, and felt very validated when you asked if anyone was working on their own art projects while watching. I don't think mine turned out nearly as cute as yours, but that's a very high bar.
I totally understand having personal Christmas colors. My personal Christmas colors are red, green, gold, and purple. My tree ornaments are almost exclusively those colors. 😊
