The Most Delicious Pineapple Upside Down Pound Cake From Scratch Recipe Featuring Jonathan.

Cake Batter consist of the following ingredients.
Wet Ingredients:
3 Cups Of Sugar
6 Large Eggs
2 Sticks of Salted Butter
1/2 Cup of Butter Flavored Crisco
1/2 Cup of Milk
1/2 Cup of Pineapple Juice )* We used the juice from our Pineapples)
1- 20oz Can of Pineapple Slices
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon of Cake Batter Extract
Dry Ingredients:
3 Cups of All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
The Topping Consists Of:
1 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
1 Stick of Butter
*We heated in the oven for 45 seconds and stirred in a bowl until well combined.
You will need 1 Jar of Maraschino Cherries
Oven Temp 325
Cooking Time 1 hour 25 minutes
Directions:
For the topping I used 1 cup of light brown sugar and 1 stick of butter. I used the microwave to heat the mixture (45 seconds). Then I stirred it with a cooking spoon 🥄 . I set it aside to use when assembling the cake.
In the mixing bowl 🥣 I placed 2 sticks of butter (previously taken out to allow it to get to room temperature). Also in the bowl I added a 1/2 stick of butter flavored Crisco (room temperature). Combine until creamy. (Make sure to allows scrap down the sides of the bowl).
Next gradually add to the mixture 3 cups of sugar for 7-9 minutes (Making sure to scrap the bowl).
We now will add the 6 eggs to the mixture (add 1 at a time).
Add 1/2 teaspoon of Cake Batter Extract.
Add 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract and mix.
Add 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder to the 3 Cups of flour and whisk it together.
Combine 1/2 Cup of milk and 1/2 of Pineapple Juice together (Do not add to the mixture just yet. We will be combining it by alternating flour and liquid. We will start with flour first, then liquid mixture and end with flour.
In your Pound Cake Pan pour in the bottom the Brown Sugar Mixture. Add the pineapple 🍍 rings. Place your Cherries 🍒 in the center of the Pineapple rings and to any open space between rings.
Pour or spoon the batter into the cake pan. Use spatula to even cake batter.
Bake 325 for 1 hr. 15-30 minutes, depending on your oven.
Remove from oven once done, be careful not to burn yourself.
Allow cake to cook before removing from pan.
After it cools, flip onto Cake platter. Enjoy.
