This was basically the end of Disney Channel's golden age and peak right before High School Musical and Hannah Montana were on the way a few months later.
TWO96 I agree 2005 was the last good year for Disney channel. When Hannah Montana and high school musical premiered that’s where Disney channel fucked up pretty bad and went downhill. The daytime scheduling during 2006 was nothing but cringeworthy teen sitcoms and most of their cartoons were put in terrible time slots(midnight hours) they were less cartoons in the daytime hours during that time in 2006. And to be fair the only good live action Disney shows were Lizzie McGuire, that’s so raven, Even Stevens(the best live action Disney show IMO), Zack and Cody, Phil of the future, and Life with derek(not a Disney channel original but whatever). The rest of the live action shows starting with Hannah Montana and above were trash.
@@carlottajohns8691 that's because in 2005 they started to change their audience from the 90's and early 2000's they had their shows for an older audience for teens/young adults then around 2005/2006 it started to get childish with suite life (even though in season 1 it had some dirty jokes for teens to understand) hannah montana and high school musical for a younger audience for years people wanna tell us "you just grew up that's why you hate disney you had your time let kids now have their time" when that's not the point if you watch shows like so weird jett jackon the jersey lizzie raven & the cartoons you'll realize it wasn't as "kid friendly" like they made the shows from the mid 2000's now i will say this hannah montana STILL remains as one of the biggest disney shows in history but believe it or not they had a few serious episodes despite from it being kinda childish i still enjoyed the shit out of that show in high school
