While I'm not saying this isnt true I do know if you can get over whatever had broken the trust with help like therapy and taking time to oneself, you can rebuild trust and the love can return. Again, not everyone can or is able/willing to do it because of fear and pain or just pure rage/hate. Its not easy but its doable depending also on whatever happened.
