    Great educational video. Thousands $ worth of value in that info. Clear and understandable technical teaching that techs can understand.

    Great video, could your team plan on Doing a lecture on SIGNAL GENERATORS in our field? I’m very interested to learn about this, ever since it was mentioned in one of the videos here.

    You are so knowledgeable but some times feels it would be good, if you can reduce being deviated from topic by small distractions. But at the same time I should say that distraction to some extent is good to regain the student's attention back to tutor........

    Nice information. Let me see if I understand. what you are saying is that one maintenance technician can't have access to the comtrollers and the information in it ( secuence of operations and points) without calling you guys.???

    Hey brother hope all is well in Texas, speaking on outputs, I was on a Carrier 30XA and on the outputs menu of the touchpilot I was trying to find my economizer EXV output.
    I was looking at "Capacity Signal Cir A" which read 2V but wasn't sure what that output was for. You got any idea? Thanks for your time

    • @HVACTIME
      @HVACTIME  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe thats for the automation system do monitor what each circuit capacity was via signal out. So 0vdc being minimum and 10vdc being fully loaded

    • @derrickenbuenosaires
      @derrickenbuenosaires 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HVACTIME That would be for total system capacity then. I was reading on screen 7-12% with circuit A running only which I assume can translate to 2vdc.
      I was scrolling through the controller but couldn't find percentage of the EXV's. Still learning it while doing maintenance.

    • @HVACTIME
      @HVACTIME  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's typically going to be just that particular circuit load. Circuit b should have its own output

      @@HVACTIME Thanks for the input* ! take care of yourself

    Binary input...in range vs out of range

  • @thomascrane8130
    @thomascrane8130 ปีที่แล้ว

    On a digital input it goes say to flow switch, does the controller send out a signal and when it gets that signal back does it read it as closed? So 0-10vdc? Because it goes to common I am thinking a load?

      I believe it’s a Volt Free Contact or a 24Vac signal.
