The Philippines is under a heatwave alert! As a foreigner back in Manila, this extreme heat is a shock. Join me & my Filipina girlfriend as we survive the heat in BGC. South and Southeast Asia are suffering from record breaking heat. From Bangladesh all the way to the Philippines. 40C temps is highly unusual in the PH even in the hottest days.
Welcome back. Most of Asia is going through a severe heatwave now. It's actually even hotter in Bangkok compared to Metro Manila from what i've seen in the news.

@@MakingithappenVlog Yup, the temperature is definitely hotter in Thailand where 61 people have already died from heat stroke as of April 2024! That's totally crazy! I hope this won't be the new normal now! Good thing PAGASA says that the worst is over for the Philippines this month of May with the rainy season almost upon us! Anyway, welcome back to Manila!

The shopping malls are the answer to the warm weather in the Philippines. And of course, don't forget the many 1000 Islands where you can go to the beach to cool off.

I found you just have to go all in and embrace the heat lol I would go for jogs for a 1/2 hour per day in the heat to acclimate myself, even Filipino's would look at me like wtf?...Keep up the good work!
Zambales beach,Batangas beach, The Philippines is experiencing a EL NINO some of parts of the country have heat index a 50c to 58c since this summer heat star but some parts of the country the Philippines is on total drought or dry spell.Farm lands are dry some crops are die because of this summer heat.If you are going out for walk or jogging early morning is good avoid the time between the time 10am to 3pm because on those time is super hot and temperature is already 33c to 34c etc .For your meet up do it in your coffee shop indoor meet up but if outdoor just do it any where in bgc parks.But some parts of the country is experiencing a thunderstorms already it means rainy season or typhoon season is coming.
