  • Take a peaceful walk with me as I stroll around Edinburgh's historic Canonmills area. The name derives from the Augustinian canons of Holyrood Abbey who once owned mills here when Canonmills was a bustling village supplying flour to Edinburgh. The Water of Leith flows through the village and powered mills dating all the way back to the 12th century! The area also has connections to famous Scottish writer, Robert Louis Stevenson who lived and went to school here.
