I have an 05 vino that's is actually well the faster kind that goes 60km an hour. At first I wanted to buy a new bike but I love my little vino we have to much fun together in the slow lane.😂
I can't ride a Vino 50. Max load capacity is around 180 pounds and I weigh 240. If you fit on it, the 2 stroke Vino has a Minarelli engine, and you can get a ton of modifications for it. 70cc big bore kits, expansion chamber exhaust, larger carburetors, free flow air filters, performance variators and tuning parts, performance clutches. My 2004 Zuma with all those mods does 55 mph on a level road.
Hello Bambino Stunts....REALLY GRATEFUL for the tips. ANY chance you could be more specific on WHICH WASHER TO REMOVE under the engine cover, AND what size DIAMETER hole did you drill. These are all important details to a newbie. REALLY appreciate any details you might be able to offer. Thanks Again.
I just bought a new one it's a 2004 vino looks like a new one got good tires on it an all works an it will go 60 tops I love it but I need to no what kind of oil does it take. I got it at a car lot in Hillsboro Ohio I'm from hillsboro Ohio nice vid can you tell me what kind of gear oil please I've ask on lots of vids but nothing from them I gave 1300 four mine guy at car lot their said he didn't no any thing about it just took it in on trade it is nice four a 2004 model can you tell me what kind of gear oil
Just sharing.... I also owned a 1999 yamaha vino 50cc 2 stroke like yours my top speed is 70 to 75 km/h may initial set ups are: Racing pulley Roller combination 45 degree torque drive Block portings
I have an '02 Vino and did the same mods. It was unusable as purchased, as it always seemed in the way on the road; couldn't even keep up with 30 MPH traffic. Now it easily makes it to 40+ MPH on flat surfaces. Downhill yesterday it was well over 40. It's a bit scary at 40 MPH, but I'd rather be moving at that speed on roads posted at that speed.
I have a 2011 that has had the washer restriction removed and a pipe and a bore kit. 250 in parts and shela will run 45 to 50 pretty comfortably and gets there in a hurry for a scooter. It's a lot of fun
We got two wolf islanders and they top at 40 when down hill, long straight ways, or wind pushing me. When it hits 40 it sounds like it wants to go faster and it does goes to 41and 42 but the exhaust makes loud popping sounds and takes it down to 40. I wonder if I replace the exhaust to after market or drill a hole like you did it will go faster than 42 without the exhaust bringing it down to 40
@@Hellawacked thanks I will check it out. U can tell it want to keep going but something is stopping it. Once it reaches 40 it be popping, pops like backfire then it goes back down to 40. Thank you, I'll check out the channel.
4 strokes are boat anchors. Heavy, complicated, and slow. Some 4 strokes are fun, like Harleys and vintage British singles and twins, but modern Japanese 4 strokes are just drop dead boring.
@Jeronimo Vega Step one: remove exhaust pipe from bike Step two: identify the hole on the end that connects to the bike Step three: drill that hole out to make it a bigger opening Step four: reconnect exhaust pipe to bike Step five: enjoy a way more snappy and way faster moped
I have an '02 Vino and I seem to recall (from nearly 21 years ago) that after taking the exhaust off and looking at the restrictor, I saw a piece of metal with a hole in it, attached with a few small welds holding it in place; almost as if it was intentionally made easy to remove. I believe I just took a big screwdriver and hammer and popped that thing out, then put the exhaust back on. It made a huge difference.
Well Mike here in the state of NC if you losecyour license for some reason you can ride a scooter but can't be over 50cc. But that's here in NC I don't know his situation. Still a freaking awesome daily commute and beats walking or sitting dreaming of going places
Gotta love little bikes, the way they’re giving it all they’ve got everyday. Makes you feel like your riding something with real heart
I just got my 2002 vino an hour ago and I love it already.
I recently did this to my 2005 vino. It has a big bore kit too, and LORD does this thing haul ass now! ZERO regrets
Nice little moto mate. Lovely condition for the year too!
Well thank you in advance.... I am going to try this and get back really appreciate your tips... cannot wait!
Thinking abt doing this do u recommend it?

Lol nice! One handed riding with a 10" tire is sketchy in Canada with our junk roads. Thanks for the tips!

I wonder if the braking system is now going to be enough.
where exactly did you drill that hole i think i'll do that when i get my bike engine kit
I just bought a 2002 in good shape. Derestricted variator and exhaust, upped jet one size and it does 50 on a flat road and I’m 200lb
What sized jet?
@@jaredr7473 upped one jet size from, I think it was 64 stock to 65, if my memory serves me. (Repaired a couple Zuma’s, a gy6 junkand a vino 4 stroke)
I then upgraded to a sport muffler and am over 50, about 54
Forgot to mention, I went one gram lower than the rollers with dr pulley sliders
that's an awesome scooter!

Free? How much work needed?
2006 Vino 50 and I don't know if it's two stroke or 4-stroke
Do you drill the muffler tip or the engine block? Good video 👍
Watch this video to learn how to remove the washer. th-cam.com/video/vIOzHJaMj3M/w-d-xo.html
did you have to rejet the carb or have you looked at color of plug?

Cool bike.
I has a 2001 and I put a variator polini and I hit the flasher on speedometer
Can we make 50cc more quieter?

I got one 2004 model just got it 125 kind can you tell me what kind of gear oil they use
Sweet
I bought one the other day do I mix the gas or just fill the oil?
do yu have a link for the exhaust air hole
I also have this tiny moto mate😍💖
Your roads are better than our third world country - Uk .
Nice bike and decent power
Thanks
Is it the same for a 2008 with 4 strokes?
Engine is different I don't know about top speed
4 strokes are boat anchors. Heavy, complicated, and slow. Some 4 strokes are fun, like Harleys and vintage British singles and twins, but modern Japanese 4 strokes are just drop dead boring.
Top speee is supposedly 40-43 with no restrictor other than possibly a rev limiter but the 2 stroke Vinos accelerate quicker
Is it 2T or 4T?
2T
Did drilling that out effect the gas milage?
No
Mine did 60kmh. It had acceleration tho so it was good for wheelies
will you sell it?
Nice
How do you drill the whole ?
I took a big metal drill bit and just bored out the opening and made it bigger
Im completely ignorant about it . What are the steps to do so?
@Jeronimo Vega Step one: remove exhaust pipe from bike
Step two: identify the hole on the end that connects to the bike
Step three: drill that hole out to make it a bigger opening
Step four: reconnect exhaust pipe to bike

Can you tell me about if mpg changes at all
High function autism please help!👍
It did not change the mpg at all. Thanks for the comment!
Damn I take my comment back 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I mean the top speed is still slow but that thing accelerates fast ASF sweet bike imagine the 125CC
Yeah! Imagine having those mods on your own Vino!! Thing feels as light as a feather
Who said meth and scooters don't mix ?? 🍺 😎 👍 🔥🔥🔥
Just ordered one vine for $125.00.
He bought the slow one if it's not 125cc why buy scooter
