Great video, and the FOMO topic is a good one to discuss on it's own! How do you personally deal with FOMO? Contiki does interest me, but I think I'd feel more comfortable with EF Ultimate Break, mainly because I can rely on them to book my flights. I'd be nervous to book my flights outside of them. I hear that "Contiki cough" is a big thing. Why do you think you hear more about people getting sick on Contiki Trips than EF Ultimate Break? Hopefully we can get to a point again there they would feel comfortable to bring back Russian trips as I could love to go there one day!
I definitely deal with FOMO so I don’t have a great answer on how to deal with it 😂 I’d say just focus on the trips you want to do and actively work on trying to make them happen and focus on also the trips you do have planned. Focusing on what is coming up travel wise helps me most with FOMO. it is really nice and convenient that EF books the flights for you so whenever I do a Contiki trip next it’ll be a struggle to have to book my own flights. I’d say Contiki trips tend to have more people on them so maybe that’s why the Contiki cough is a thing but people have definitely gotten sick and spread germs on EF tours that I’ve been on. It’s just unavoidable sometimes in groups.
Hi hi! I was just wondering how to meet with the Contiki group once you land at the airport? Will a place/time be given to you once you book the trip online?
@@pamelatomas3921 Yes! Normally you will know closer to the trip from your tour director and there will be a sign with Contiki on it so you can spot them easily.
Great videos, i am in my 30’s, i travel a lot by myself, but want to go to Egypt and think i need to go on a tour in that part of the world, i dont drink or anything so i can relate to you on that, so if you had to choose ef or contiki? What do u choose? Thanks😬
@@parkeranthony3831 Thank you for your kind comment! I love both tour companies but if I had to pick I would go with EF. They tend to be a bit more calm from the party side of things than contiki (although there will always be some partying going on). And EF tends to have smaller groups. That being said, however, I did travel to Egypt with Contiki and enjoyed it!
So interesting as a fellow introvert with social anxiety!
Doing the Best of Spain in August, it's nice to hear someone's insight into the realities of a Contiki trip 😊
Hey Katherine 👋🏻
Thank you so much for the info, going on a contiki trip this November and I must say the tips is valuable.

Is it true that the people who do Contiki specifically are Australian?
Do you think it’s good to go on a contiki at 28?
Would I be too old for it?
No! I will say the Europe trips tend to lean younger and the more “uncommon” and expensive destinations lean older
