Unya naay nagluto nga pinoy ug arroz caldo.. Pagkaon sa taga el salvador (spaniard). Nangutana. (of course in Spanish) translated to bisaya by me? (hehehe) Unsa ni nga pagkaon nga luspad(puspa in spanish)? Ang pinoy kusinero wa kasabot.. Ang last lang niya nadunggan kay puspa... Niingon siya... Yes sir, puspas na... Hehehe... I was born / raised in Laguna, “POSPAS” is yellowish in color maybe with yellow food color, with sweet rice mixed with regular. I sauté the mixed rice with patis and then add water until it pops. Chicken including the bones for added flavor or pork stomach, tripe or honeycomb can be included( optional) all boned parts are sautéed separate then added to the mixed rice ready to eat. Yes, fried garlic as a topping is added for more flavor....🇺🇸🇵🇭

My oldies from Cavite uses the term Pospas too, to mean anything that is soupy and hot.
