Looks like more than half of the stars failed to spawn in due to minimum distance between systems. How many stars was that according to the game log file? Any chance we'd get to see this done again with 10k actual stars?
You need custom galaxy shape code to do that or it fails to spawn in more systems after 4k or so. Simply increasing the max stars slider does nothing after that point.

Is this actually 10k or did several thousand stars fail to spawn? Making a 25k system galaxy took more than just using a mod that upped the slider, it requires reconfiguring *how* systems spawn and what minimal distance they can do so from each other.
Yeah, doing some sampling and that looks less than 5k much less 10k sadly.
Man I wish computing technology was at a level where you could play this. Would feel so cool.
Yes! This is the way stellaris is meant to be played. I would love it! A real galaxy would be much closer to this, where it’s so vast that you might not even meet everyone after 200 years.
