Wow I remember those days when my f.i.l used to make it and the whole family would do that i missed those days. Now that he's in heaven makes me miss him! And his squirrel soup is the best! Thank you for your recipe!
My father n law made squirel stew for me one year. He was so happy to share this stew with me. I was at first nervous to eat and try. But after seeing all the greens and how aromatic it smelled I did eat and try. It was the most flavorful stew I've had in so long. The meat was soft and really good. I think more people should give this stew a try it's really something new & flavorful to the pallet.
I made it for the first time using this recipe and my son ate it which he hardly ever eats it. My sister also said it’s taste great. I used the instant pot and cooked it for 1hr and 30 minutes. Thank you for sharing the wonderful recipe!!!
I adore you and your video's! I especially adore your grandparents who are keeping our culture and traditions alive. I'm thankful that you share these videos of your cooking along with your family. I look forward to seeing more!
My Hmong mom makes the best squirrel stew. Everything is delicious from the liquid to the bones and herbs. We haven’t had squirrel stew for a few years now since no one has the time to go hunting anymore due to farming, school, and work.
Thank you for the video. I been wanting to learn how to make this. I'm going to be using this recipe with venison but it's what I have been looking for. Great video!
Omg!!! I want to eat this so bad... and I don’t even like eating squirrel. The last time I had it was when I was 8... that’s 30 years ago. I think My tastebuds are changing! Thanks for sharing! 🥰
Wow love it. Next video please prepare and have it from forest where you hunt down. Lots of love and big fan + new subscriber here. Love from Naga Land
That soup looks so good. I don’t hunt I wished stores will sell squirrels. I used to live closed my by family and my dad would hunt them. I love it. But now I’m so far from my fam.
I don't know if I'll ever get squirrel again, but when I was a child my grandparents would literally eat anything they could capture (not pets lol). They'd always tell me it was chicken. I was probably 10 or 11 before I realized there were never any wings!🤔😝
Please don’t ever stop making videos! These recipes are awesome and brings back memories. Subscribed!

How's squirrel meat? Is it good? What does it taste like?
Similar to rabbit but better imo. Tough if you don't know how to cook it tho. Squirrel with acorn flour dumplings is incredible

Damn that squirrel dish looks bomb
Love your videos
My mouth was watery the whole video. Lol
Great family
Squirrel meat is good in many ways when it comes to stew!!! As long it has a bitter spicy slight salt taste, with a lot veggies it’s A1!!!!!
from the way how they made it.. its not bitter.. they're missing the main ingredient
this is something you make for the kids because they dont really enjoy the bitterness
Montagnard Jarai tribe we cooked squirrels meat with eggplant when I was in village so delicious
