Save some of those blue cheese crisps, to crush and sprinkle over your next steak. You have to experience the crunch and flavour that it gives the steak.
I'm not sure the exact numbers. Lays and Ruffles would be two big brands made from potato, but there are many others, store brands like Trader Joe's, smaller brands like Zapp's, Herr's, Hawaiian brand...the list goes on! Cheetos, Doritos and Fritos would be corn based along with the many brands of tortilla chips.
I love you Ross. I was born and bred in Dundee Scotland but have lived i Canada for 46 years. Never does the smell of the heather leave me. Enjoy your chips
Hello👋 my fellow Dundonian😊, do you miss dundee by any chance?... I always say there's no place like home, nothing beats the feeling crossing the tay road bridge and seeing the city from afar
Hi Elizabeth! You are too kind, Thank you! :) Dundee sounds beautiful, from what we're seeing online we can see Dundee is referred to as "One City, Many Discoveries" and "The City of Discovery". From just a brief search of Dundee, the landmarks look gorgeous and now we have to take a closer look ...and now looking up Dundee marmalade and cake :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
@domm3688 Hellooooo. Yes I miss Dundee so much never stopped. Been home many times but not recently.. Miss the people mostly . The chat and sense of humor.. Where are you living ?
I'm in Dundee myself, don't think I would ever leave if I am being honest... despite the unpredictable weather 😆 ... just somethings you can't beat, the banter, accents, and of course Dundee pehs 😆
Memories of my visits to Scotland and Ireland, the drift of beef dripping in Glasgow and eating fish and chips along Sauchihall street, pints of Guinness in Dublin and Kildare, I thought Tina would jump into the blue cheese crisps and I was reminded that I still have a jar of lime pickle, you can have crisp butties tonight.
@@FinnLovesFoodI don't know yet, I bought it when I was going to make some homemade curry, I think having it with poppadoms but I usually have red onions and mango chutney like they have in Indian restaurants, I'm sure I'll think of something something, have a great weekend
Our moms have really enjoyed the biscuits - not sure if they have found a favorite. Tina's mom tried these crisps and seemed to enjoy the Aberdeen Angus.
Mackies Cheese and Onion are delicious, my fav. I have not heard of the others. Mackies I have only come across the cheese and onion, Salt and Vinegar and Sea Salt, never seen the Angus beef favour delicious. 😊 I need to catch up with your other recent videos. Love you guys always ❤️ ❤❤
Hi Beverly! Love, love, love the cheese and onion combination! :) If you do ever come across the angus beef flavour, please let us know what you think. Thank you for watching :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
You would certainly be welcome here in Scotland - but don't expect bowing and curtsie's. I think you would love it here 😀😀 Mackies are well known here - their ice cream is amazing
Hi Jeff! Thank you! Scotland looks absolutely beautiful from the images and videos we've seen. Oh, you piqued our curiosity! We just did a search online on Mackies ice cream and noticed they sell chocolate too. Checking out the ice cream flavours...and...raspberry ripple...okay, more points for retiring in Scotland! :D
I See point reyes green T shirt going be Tina favourite especially on cheese related video. I tried plain bag of Keoghs in Dublin quite while ago, do like Mackies also lovely ice cream producer too lots lovely ice cream 1 litre tubs in supermarkets. I'd not realised Tatyo was NI so you having a Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪, Northern Ireland, Scottish taste test 🏴 Glad u liked them sure your guests really making visit try all these wonderful things just ain't any local US store.
I should have shown the back of the shirt. It says "Oooooohhh Cheese!" in big letters. I couldn't resist when I saw that. Decided not to put a flag on this one with so many different countries! Mom got to try the various flavors. She was very intrigued by the Aberdeen Angus flavor.
Even though I’m English I love most things Scottish foodwise , but Mackies crisps I’m not a fan of but if Richard says they are good then they must be!..😆
@@FinnLovesFood The southern packet is red and blue and trust me it tastes way better. Might wait for someone to PO box them to you or maybe buy them online.

Hi David! Ohhh that sounds heavenly!!!

I think I might prefer cheese and onion flavor to blue cheese for crisps, but both are good. How are you using that jar of lime pickle?

LOL! Granted, this is the only Mackies crisp we've tried, but we did like the beef flavor.
Edinburgh is well worth visiting, also the Highlands
One my favourite places visit is Scotland loved holiday to Trossachs in 2019 scenery beautiful u have there.
Edinburgh looks like a beautiful city and the Highlands look gorgeous too.
Might want to try some southern Irish tayo, the northern Irish brand tayto is a rip off of the southern tayto.
We don't typically see Tayto crisps here and not sure if we would know whether we had the Northern or Southern version.
