I love watching you two talking about your knitting, your shop and your kids. Charlotte sounds like a kick!! I love your "rip it out" attitude with your customers. Truly, that is the only way to go. I find that I know I need to rip, I don't do it, I keep knitting, the issue keeps bugging me, and I end up ripping anyway!!! That Skein Yarn shop color from Kevin and Ray is GORGEOUS!! Justine I can so relate to your struggles with Charlotte. My kids are now adults, somehow we survived. When they were little we called my son 'Buddha Baby' because he was so chill. My daughter Charlotte (yup same name!) we called 'The Demon Seed'!
I may have to sign up for that Sophie's Dream class / crochet along. I've been wanting to make it - I even have the pattern - but need a nudge to get started. It's so pretty! I'm not a super experienced crocheter, but I'm confident I can get through it, especially if I have people of whom I can ask questions.
Love the advent blanket I was going to make that too but I’m found a shawl from cozy up knits but I have some money minis I can still make it and put a white with it
Haha Justine, your episode with Charlotte this morning reminded me of something that happened when my son was a kid. My mom lived across the street from us. Our house had a farmer’s porch and she saw my front door open, a backpack come flying out, two shoes come flying out and a kid come flying out. So I know the feeling, my friend. P.s. he’s 38 years old now, so he survived. Fun episode, guys! Happy Holidays to both of you!!
i worked in retail, the the poor parents coming in to try to find clothing and accessories for these silly days were so burdened by it all. it needs to stop, so often both parents work full time and don't have time for the nonsense.
