Terrianigma is in my top 3 games of all time. Only this game, CT and FF6 have ever gave me that feeling of I want to play this again straight after I finished

It's been 10 years since I last played this game, I actually cried when I listened to this. It feels like yesterday since I saw Ark sleeping for the last time and dreaming of being a dove flying over the world. I hope nobody walks on me crying to 16-bit music. ;)
I am SURE he is. Seeing the world from a birdeye prespective, I would say he has seen the progress of mankind. Like the world we live in today. Everything Ark see is because of him. Thanks to him, everything is possible, the ground, plants, mammals and the mankind is excisting....in peace
Heh, you have all the OST's up. You really like this game a lot don't you? I think everyone who has played it grows to absolutely love it in some way. It's nice that I can always come back to this, I can always play Terranigma and it makes everything better. Life can be overwhelming, too much change too fast, too many hardships... But then I can play Terranigma, and feel like I'm younger again until it's over. So wonderful... Now to start another playthrough.
Maybe its just me but... The whole credits sequence where Ark flies around the world you realize that several things from our present time are shown like the train, plane and the city. In addition the whole world map is based on our real world. So maybe the world shown in the credits is supposed to be our world in present time. Like the REAL world. Not only does this make the whole ending beautiful and emotional but also meta as fuck. But yeah maybe its just me. The ending is amazing nontheless.

The gameplay tho, was a bit repeating, but good in overall! Also, the game shows very well the meaning of life and death, also the nature and everything is very nice. I have to play it again, last time i played this gem, was 2 years ago, but this deserve another play for sure.
The world might have some terrible things happening in it but when I listen to music like this, it makes me remember that the beauty is out there and totally worth living for.
my First Video Game! its now 20 years ago since i played it. now i'm 28 and have played terranigma 10 times because its the best game and it will be a part of my childhood for every time.
I as a long time player of Terranigma get always wet eyes listening to it. And if played through the new game Undertale, archieved its Golden Ending (avoid the worst ending) and spoke with the person you wish to save the most, play this theme while you run from the beginning to the end... I guaranty, your eyes will become literal waterfalls. Oh my beloved little crybaby, I am a greater crybaby than you. ;__;

i remember there were tricky parts and i'd be stuck very often, i tried to beat the game after 2 years (i know i'm dumb) with the FAQ before me and when i reached the credits i could not hold back my tears for all my efforts and this beautiful and really touching ending T___T i think new games for consoles like "Xbox, playstation, etc." will NEVER be as good as these SNES games. my dear childhood games that i'll never forget or get tired to play =)

This went from a theme of the quasi-omnipotent being called God to the theme of buddhism(religious aspect) where Ark is rein...well spoiler alert. Talking about the Quintet series where Act Raiser, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Time are all related. Does it feel weird that I feel this game felt religious? Almost as if Ark was God himself viewing the world in the bird's eye view, though not in the omnipresent way. And why was the bird used? Is it to signal the somewhat monogamous relationship they have like Ark and Elle, we can even extend this to Rose and Dart in Legend of Dragoon. Weird symbolism.

@Charmolution Well, actually not. Because he only ressurected everything, not created. Ark was not a god, but he was chosen to be the one, who will ressurect all living things, incuding the land.
@colbatknight That was just my own 5 personal top 5 =) SOM and SD3 are also great games in their own right. But the top 5 I listen are my personal favorites, because of: 1. Most important, Story and Music 2. Gameplay 3. Characters Other RPG can be good, very good maybe but they cant come close to my top 5.....especially not chrono trigger....we will never have another rpg like that...never
@gyromancy2 First of all let me say, those three don't come even CLOSE to terranigma in story, music and gameplay. Second, the first two u mention are psx games, so the graphics are automatically better, but that's not saying much. Third, I'm sure most of the people never heared about the first two u mentioned. But everyone, or at least almost every RPG fan heared about terranigma Because terranigma holds its own. It's unique and rpg's nowadays can learn something from thuis masterpiece
