    My flight literally departs in 3 hours to start my trip in Asia. I will be in Korea end August and stay for a while to get used to the culture and keep my eye out for the career world out there (potential future opportunities). So this video literally came at the PERFECT TIMING 😂👏🏻👏🏻 !! Thanks Natalia❤ So helpful

    I will move to SK in February to study at Ewha, and even though I don’t plan to find a job in Korea anytime soon, it’s always nice to have this info at hand. 🙌🏻

    I relate so hard about the 자소서 I spent so much effort writing one and then just realized it was a waste of time 😂.

    I'd love to know what your application feedback ratio was for Supply Chain vs Marketing roles and how the interviews differed (or if it was more difficult to find opportunities for foreigners in SC). I'm also in Procurement/ Supply Chain. :)

    I’m currently studying korean language in Seoul, btw I am also trying to find a job unfortunately I don’t know where, do you guys have any idea where should I start? I can’t understand how it’s the process to look for a job in Korea to be honest.

    Hi, I have a question for anyone there that might answer 😊
    It is related towards where to deliver those CVs. Are there any job portals you guys can recommend like LinkedIn?

    My masters was public admin so I would love to work at the US embassy in Korea or even like Seoul city hall because it aligns more with my degree but the former is mostly foreign service people (whole other ball game and testing vetting waiting) and military related people so thats almost out and the latter has like maybe one position..........I did get a chance to meet the former mayor of seoul when I was here for a research project on civic involvement in seoul - he did say myself and my team mates could apply anytime but the postions just arent there ......other than that i would absolutely love to work at a Korean univeristy preparing students to study abroad in the USA because I was heavily involved in student life while a student but then I also want to complete my Phd here in education policy or something - too hard to decide what to do but i definitely want to move on from teaching....
    Do you think Korean companies actually fact check resumes etc? I know someone who lies about everything from high school and university name to current home address - it's not that this person didnt graduate from university or wants to embellish anything .this person just wants to keep the real info private - but not one job has called them out on it

    Filling out the information and uploading the resume/cv and cover letter is a requirement for some job apps in the U.S., and I genuinely need help understanding this concept. It makes 0 sense!

    I heard that one can earn less salary working in Korea compared to working that same position in America? I am American. is this true?

    • @deckcadetmiles
      @deckcadetmiles ปีที่แล้ว

      The cost of living here is lower, so it's all relative.

    • @Christopher-sh9uh
      @Christopher-sh9uh ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deckcadetmiles but what if i eventually want to move back to america or a different country with a higher cost of living? Would I not be losing out on money by working that same job in say south korea instead of the same job in the US?

    you saying that american jobs auto fill the info from resumes is so funny, 99% of the jobs i’ve applied for have you upload a resume and then you still have to manually fill out everything
