The "risky stuff at early ranks becoming bad habits" is so true. Ive noticed i would throw down 2,3 so often just cause it landed before. After playing in a little higher ranks its almost the main move i cant stop doing that gets punished. im still trying to fix all my bad habits and add in the ones i need to help me win more consistently. Great vid!
Thanks for the inclusion and feedback, I haven't played online for a while, I'll have to check when that match was! I play more matches offline and at the local events I'm a tournament assistant at thus I am prone to more silly power crush cheese online than offline, it's criminal how far you can climb ranks as Law by just cycling through b1+2, 1+2 and f1+2. If this was when I think it was, I had recently been told by an experienced player at my local to be more aggressive which I was trying to achieve through fishing for df2s and side step 3+4s with a staple combo (I saw myself going for it in one of these rounds and doing junkyard instead mid combo for some reason LOL) I did feel punishment was one thing I've needed to improve and I'm glad you backed up that I do need it, I have already started by adding in 3+43 more often after using it less since my regular offline openents learned to duck it. You'll also be pleased to hear I can slide now after swapping from ball top to bat top on stick! (Which also explains some of the shoddy inputs and terrible tech spamming in the input reader whenever I was grounded LOL)
With hyphens: 4JrY-79dr-G4Jd Without hyphens: 4JrY79drG4Jd I can't remember which way is better. I am running out of creativity midmatch, especially when trying to get in. I think I need a fundamental shift in my gameplay and gamesense if I want to rise above the current skill plateau i am on, if I ever want to get past Fujin. I am slowly growing match-up knowledge but it is slow.
Thank you for the feedback much appreciated. You are 100% correct i do struggle with frame data i struggle with which move to use in a certain situation. I also have brain fog when i am in a match and forget to use certain moves. I will stop the 3+4 set up from my muscle memory and stop using risky moves. Is it possible to give me laws best recommended moves to use so i can reprogram my muscle memory. Again many thanks for your time and feedback you are spot on!
Glad you found the analysis helpful! I would highly recommend using ff2,1+2 as an engager in the neutral. It’s +2 on block, can transition into dss, 2nd hit is Guaranteed if the first hit counter hits, if the 2nd hit counter hits it launches, wallsplats at the wall, does chip damage. It’s a super good neutral tool
The series is very nice, i wonder if its possible for you to analyze some of my gameplay, i haven't been online much and im currently in fujin. Ive been playing since t7 but i only started maining law in T8.
By “in the neutral” I mean when you are disengaged from your opponent, and there is no current interaction, as opposed to when you are actively engaging in a block punish or whiff punish for example. Here I mean to say, that 3+4 is not a good move to use as an engager or a mixup tool, even though it is a good move for whiff punishing or block punishing :) Hope that makes sense
I didn't dare saying it myself given i'm a stinky yellow begginer atm but yeah. All this time I was wondering "Is this really blue rank level of play ?" It takes balls to be analyzed and posted online but something felt off the entire time. I could see the same mistakes I do every few seconds.
Remember that this is only one of many matches. We don’t necessarily know the context. I don’t go through a lot of games for each player, so it’s possible I’ll unknowingly analyse a match where someone is specifically testing some new setups or flowcharts, or is maybe playing unseriously with a friend or something like that. Also, everyone has good/ bad days too, so I try to take that into consideration, and to not judge too harshly when I analyse these :)
hey my guy, my tekken id is 38bh-ni47-j3iB i have 67 battles and 47 wins, if you could review my matches against the reina going by the name of her0 that would be dope, loving the videos so much please keep them coming!

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. This is not intended to be interesting to watch. It is supposed to be helpful and informative first and foremost. And for some it is also interesting. In these videos I’m not trying to entertain, I’m trying to teach. If you find these analysis boring or uninteresting, that’s okay. I do lots of other gameplay content you can watch instead :)
Its: 2baj-b5iA-85gh, i had a very good run until a paul smoked me. Thanks for the series helps good for high level you should see the ones before the paul, they have touch of your tricks with my style. anyways see u!

Hi Lambkin, what do you mean when you say “in the neutral?” What is that and what are the other things you can have it in if not neutral?
