Here's how to report such cases online as most people, who want to register a complaint, dread entering a police station since lodging a complaint seems like an arduous task or there is a constant fear that the authorities might not be cooperative. However, that shouldn’t stop anybody from taking strict action against crime. As India is moving towards digitalization, how to file an online FIR/police report or complaint has become one of the most searched queries. However, there are two things that you need to keep in mind before initiating a criminal proceeding anywhere in the world.
How to file an online FIR: Lost and found
1. Visit the official website
2. Click on the ‘Lost & Found’ option
3. Click on Register
4. Fill the registration form
5. Enter the captcha code on the registration form.
6. Recheck the details
7. Check your e-mail ID

Thanks for the information brother. One thing that i would like to know is if address has also changed for driving license and it has got misplaced as well than what needs to be done also while filling the address in the FIR, new address should be inserted or the one that is on the lost driving license.
