Everything looks so amazing, but I was especially excited by the eclair. I am attempting my first eclairs for Easter. I'm doing some traditional ones, some lemon choux filled with blackberry lavender curd and Chantilly cream and topped with lemon icing, and then cardamom choux filled with pistachio creme diplomat and rose water icing.
I just moved to Brighton a few days ago and was thinking of exploring the bakeries here, and here I found your amazing video of a little tour of some lovely shops here! What a happy coincidence! Thank you!
That almond croissant you snagged was so polite to put on her skirt for Easter 😆 I loved chubby Spiderman! haha! The best bites to me looked like the dookie and blondie because I LOVE anything dense and chewy! Thanks for taking us along sweet Jemma😋😍
Some of my favourite spots in Brighton! Cielo is always good for a treat, Hellenic Bakery's croissants are incredible and Boho Gelato's carrot cake gelato is summer favourite!
Omg I lived in Brighton hove for 10 years going mostly every year to your store in Soho just to taste your cupcakes. Wish you had your store in Brighton damn
I haven’t been to Brighton for years. I could definitely eat my way around those bakeries! 😋 I was sold on a loaf described as “Chewy Brown” - that’s heaven right there!
Ah, Brighton ❤ so many happy memories. My husband's grandparents used to live in one of the blocks of flats and when we lived in Surrey, we often used to go and spend the weekend there. Loved it 😍 x
This is both useful and vital information everyone needs to know!! Thanks for the Bakery tour, I happen to be going to Brighton next week so this has come at the perfect time.
You have persuaded me to do a bakery tour when I'm next in Brighton 😂 I do recommend Hastings for your next food tour, I live close by and some of the bakeries round here are phenomenal ❤
I really really really appreciate this video, thank you so much sweetie, but I honestly found most of the store's prices to expensive! What happened in England? I don't remember those prices! 😢
I had no idea two of my favourite TH-camrs live in Hove 😄 Your bakery tours always make me want to check those places out! Will definitely visit C&D when in London though.
We did two bakeries of the London tours and it was amazing 😱 It will be very nice if you could go to Oxford for the next tour, we worked in a French bakery/pastry shop in summertown with my boyfriend and they do very good stuff 😋 the shop’s name is Gatineau And I think there is a lot of other shops who do nice things too in the city center 😁
Love these videos. Would definitely love to see the team tackle more cities. Edinburgh is a good shout - has loads of great spots. Mimi's, Mary's Milk Bar, Babyfaced Baker, Söderberg, the Pastry Section...
I love proper bakeries like these.I'd spend a fortune and end up weighing a ton if i lived there. The closest i have to a bakery near me these days is Tesco and it doesn't quite cut the mustard! All of the little bakeries have long since shut up shop
Soooooooo many questions, top 2 being did you eat all the bakes and if you took them home, how, did you have a trolley hidden away?! Amazing tour, thankyou 🥰😋
Sorry if this is a silly question, I don't know the area at all, but me and my best friend are hopefully going to Brighton at the end of the month. I'd love to do this 'tour' (or as much of it as we can)! Is it walkable? Or, did you use public transport in between? Thank you for such a fabulous video. I'm so excited now!! ❤
Any suggestions for Manchester? We'll be up there with friends at the end of the month for a long weekend - first time so could use some insider bakery knowledge 👌
Sfogliatella is a bit overrated imo. It has too much cream inside. I think the big draw is how time consuming they are to make. There’s a slight variation called a lobster tail that has cannoli cream inside that’s a little better but it also has too much filling.
This is so fab! I will be visiting a friend who lives in Hove in December. We are definitely doing this Bakery Tour! Also, how was the taco and will you please give taco info? I need good tacos whist there. Cheers!
Classic from Luna (age 4) 'Jemma has lovely manners in every shop!" :) We love these tours x
Aww ☺️ Anyone who has ever worked in hospitality as long as I have will always have good manners in shops and restaurants I think!
Keep this bakery tour coming! ❤😊
Love these bakery tours. We get to see some amazing looking treats, but also kudos for showcasing & supporting other small businesses.

That sounds divine!
They sound amazing. Good luck!

2 videos in one day you have brightened my day Jemma.❤😊
I truly love these bakery tours, it's like a mini vacation 🥰
That almond croissant you snagged was so polite to put on her skirt for Easter 😆 I loved chubby Spiderman! haha! The best bites to me looked like the dookie and blondie because I LOVE anything dense and chewy! Thanks for taking us along sweet Jemma😋😍
Would really love to see more of such tour videos!! Like in London etc.
Its 6.30am here in Greece, and a great start to my day Jemma!❤

I really really really appreciate this video, thank you so much sweetie, but I honestly found most of the store's prices to expensive! What happened in England? I don't remember those prices! 😢
Looks all amazing 😢...if I was near Brighton palace, I would definitely go through all these bakeries Emma ❤❤❤
Can you do another bakery tour in London please?
Got the day off, saw this and thought go on then, only an hour away. On the train from Gatwick now.
This video - like most of your videos are - is a diabetic’s image of heaven. Living vicariously through you.
Love these walks and can’t wait to try some of the places. Beckenham next please 😊
Love it ❤ will go on that bakery tour next time I'm in Brighton :) If you ever are in Austria I would have loads of ideas for bakery tours here 😊

Absolutely love these. ❤️ I'd be sick eating all that 😂
There’s a knack to it haha
Just in time for me coming down to do Brighton Fringe in May, now I have a list of places!
Love these videos. Would definitely love to see the team tackle more cities. Edinburgh is a good shout - has loads of great spots. Mimi's, Mary's Milk Bar, Babyfaced Baker, Söderberg, the Pastry Section...
*Taking notes*
Hi Jemma,
Would be great if you could do a dessert tour in Westfield Stratford (they have really amazing ice cream shaped like roses)
I love proper bakeries like these.I'd spend a fortune and end up weighing a ton if i lived there. The closest i have to a bakery near me these days is Tesco and it doesn't quite cut the mustard! All of the little bakeries have long since shut up shop
That's made my heart so sad reading this! I would miss artisanal bakery goods (not that I get them that often) if I didn't have the choice
Love that you did a tour that not in London. Cornwall would be amazing! x
The whole county?! That might take a little time 😁
@@CupcakeJemma - yeah but it would be picturesque 😉
I would love to see Jemma in Bake off or some other baking competition ❤
Alas, I can’t apply as a pro. I’m still holding out for the presenting/judging gig 🤞🤞🤞
Jemma you should try Teba Sweetland on Boundary Road in Portslade. It's amazing and they have the biggest most colourful display.
love how the word vegan doesn't bother you 🙌 and could you please do more vegan cupcake recipes.
love this!!!!!
I've always wanted to live in Brighton, this is convincing me even more haha
Get to the seaside!
@Jemma..... have you considered setting up a shop in Hove as well? Then I could come a long more often and try all your amazing bakes 😊
Fikabythesea - Swedish treats in the open market on Saturdays is a must as well.
I had a really good hot chocolate at Fika the other day. Hilariously messy!
Also can you make this a series please? 🙏🏾

Soooooooo many questions, top 2 being did you eat all the bakes and if you took them home, how, did you have a trolley hidden away?! Amazing tour, thankyou 🥰😋
Eden and I had a smorgasbord breakfast the next morning with the leftovers! No trolley. But I think we should get one every time we do one of these 😂
I used to live in Brighton, but I wish this video had existed two years ago
Probably none of these bakeries would have existed then though jaja
Sorry if this is a silly question, I don't know the area at all, but me and my best friend are hopefully going to Brighton at the end of the month.
I'd love to do this 'tour' (or as much of it as we can)! Is it walkable? Or, did you use public transport in between?
Thank you for such a fabulous video. I'm so excited now!! ❤
Nope, we walked it all! Enjoy xx
@@CupcakeJemma Amazing! Thank you. 😊
Shout out to Jurgen!
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Go Juergen!
Love it ❤
laughed out loud litteraly when i heard the name Julien Plumart... in French, the family name is how we say the bed in a familiar vocabulary
That’s his name though! I think! 😅
Jemma, come and do bakery tour in toronto!
I bet there’s quite a few to pick from!
Jemma can you pleeease make a browni dounut with different topping and nice packaging 😢😢😢

You know, I’ve never been to Edinburgh! It’s on my list though x
@@CupcakeJemma Please come. There is so much amazing foodie stuff going on up here.we’d love to have you.
How do you cleanse your pallet doing these taste tours? Water? A salty bite?
Lots of water and a LOT of walking!
❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t live in England but that commute has got to be brutal.
It’s not too bad. 1.5 hours door to door on a good day. I get to read my book and/or reply to these comments 😁
Bakery tour in Manchester?
It’s on me list 👌🏻
Any suggestions for Manchester? We'll be up there with friends at the end of the month for a long weekend - first time so could use some insider bakery knowledge 👌

I’ve never been a big cannoli fan. I prefer sfoliatella (spelt wrong 😅) because they’re not so dry
That is a sugar filled day 😂
I’m still buzzing!
ما شاء الله تبارك الله عليك ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🤲🤲🤝🤝👌👌🇲🇦
Watch out for the seagulls
I always am 😑
