    another great video. I appreciate the discord a lot. was having issues with a set up and gneissish was nice enough to go over what was wrong with it and help me when i was trying to add lights and turrents to my base.

    Also, currency the banch out is bugged too - even if you branch out directly into a switch which is off, or a blocked blocker, it your battery will still use all the branch out volts as active usage.
    Example: in this video, you had 6 branches each set to 10. In this case, they weren't even hooked up to anything, and yet still used 10 power each from the battery.
    Keep this in mind when using branches, and always run a battery's output directly into a switch before any other component at all so you can turn it off if need be. Because of the power usage glitch, you should also consider using several medium and small batteries instead of one or two large batteries. That way, you can turn off one circuit in particular, instead of all of nothing.

      Its not bugged, its intented like this, I don't like it either, but they made this way.

    Definitely a difficult concept to explain until you try it yourself, well done.

    • @Piktro
      @Piktro ปีที่แล้ว

      @this guy except you didn't explain it correctly. It only "uses 1" if you're referring to the output, but it doesn't "use 1" if you're referring to the drain on the battery.

    GOOD VIDIO! what is going on with rW and voltages?

    Could it be something stupid like a branch is using 0.1 in standby but it's really 1

      @@AustinKlailaGames do you know any youtuber whos made a video on setting up a base that turn’s music and dance floors and all the party stuff on when people come by? If the battery doesn't "see" the branch in it's active usage, is that just a display error, or does it affect charging efficiency needs? ie. If you just wire up 50 branches daisy chained, and the active usage registers whatever the final output is (battery max output - 50), is it the (incorrectly) displayed active usage you need to account for, or the actual active usage, when determining non-drain power input required?

    • @AustinKlailaGames
      @AustinKlailaGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it's a display error. I've set charging based on the active usage that's perfectly balanced (so too low if it is a display error) with no battery drain.

    • @nicholascurran1734
      @nicholascurran1734 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AustinKlailaGames okay, so it's more an oversight in the code. If it's patched, the branches will add to the active usage, and will break any circuits that don't account for it already.
      I've watched most of your videos, and for some reason I thought they had fixed this, or perhaps a similar bug, recently. Thanks for the quick response!
